We're Katie and Logan, a 20-something-year-old couple who lives on the road full-time. Our journeys in vanlife started separately, both becoming nomads around June 2017. Originating from opposite sides of the country (Oregon + Florida), we met in Colorado and joined forces to create the ultimate caravan. After traveling together with our 2 self-converted vans (an Econoline and a Sprinter), we’re now teaming up to convert a Ford Transit camper van! Just researching window installation videos for my van build. Many installers would use butyl tape instead of foam tape for better adhesion and leak resistance.
You were right- the frame of the window was a stencil and what you were making was a template
Nice cutting log!!
Man those windows do be sliding like butter 😂 keep up the good work y’all. Can’t wait till the next video.
Butta butta 😂 Thanks, Fish!
Nice tutorial, looks nice and a thumbs up
Thank you! 😀
Turning out niceeer!! 🤘🏼
Slowly but surely! We'll be taking a road trip to Florida before you know it.
Buen vídeo 👌 gracias.
Hello there , can you give us and update on how do you like your windows since the day you have them installed on your van? Thanks
Awesome video guys! Must have been so scary cutting into the side of the van like that.
Thank you, Ryan! It was terrifying cutting into the walls. Especially when we almost messed up 😳 But happy to have accomplished it ourselves!
This was so helpful! I can't wait to see more videos to come, you are such a cute couple.
P.s I'm obsessed with the music you used at 13.15, do you know the name?
What engine does the Transit have?
Is the tape a must?
The company that makes the windows, called Motion Windows, recommends the tape so I would say yes!
