When we first came to America, we bought mattresses from the thrift store and nothing happened but when my mom(rip) was really sick, my neighbor gave me her deceased son's old mattress to give it to her. When she got it she would refused to sleep on it or near the bedroom where the mattress is at, until my brother threw it away after I told him how and where I got it from.
