Kid Rock dabbled in country music. He had a big hit in 2007-8ish called All Summer Long. If you haven't heard Sweet Home Alabama, by Lynard Skynyrd, I'd suggest listening to that first. Kid Rock's song reckons back on Skynyrd's song.
This is one of my all-time favorite karaoke duets! It’s a beautiful song with great harmonies. Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow were an item for a little while. I think they make a great duet partnership. You might want to check out Kid Rock song called “Only God Knows Why.”
Kid Rock isnt Country as much as he simply crosses genres on occasion. His thing is hes southern rock, which always goes hand in hand with country, and he himself is a huge country fan. His fans are usually fans of both genres.
Fantastic song! He has song great songs, Only God Knows Why, and All Summer Long....both are great songs. All Summer Long will bring you back to younger years, when time didn't matter.
KidRock is surprisingly well rounded, he bought a property here in TN and loves the country life. If you get the chance, please watch the big interview with Dan Rather at KidRock's TN home and check out the song Tennessee Mountaintop by KidRock.
I did the personal security detail for Ms Crow with the USO when she came to Bosnia many years ago. The show was fantastic. She was not as famous back then. Right after that, we were lucky to get BB King!! What a lovely man he was too.
I love Kid Rock’s Blue Jeans and a Rosary. Also, he and Hank Jr were in Gretchen Wilson’s Redneck Woman video. He became pretty close to Hank Jr when they did Crossroads together.
Him & Hank Jr. have like a father son relationship. Hank took him under his wing. He sings several songs with him. His first album was pretty hard core. Definitely have to Kid Rock...Only God Knows Why!!
This was a duet I'll bet most people thought would never work. Kid Rock as someone else commented is a well-rounded singer, which I think a lot of people don't know. He grew as an artist over the years, I think that brought out more of a country feel to some of his songs. I do like some of his earlier work but also this later stuff as well.
Wow. I just looked up this song and saw that it was released 20 years ago! I knew that it was an older duet, but I didn't think that it went all the way back to 2002. Great collaboration between 2 very talented artists.
Kid Rock is friends with Hank Williams Jr and Gretchen Wilson. He's in 1 or 2 Gretchen Wilson videos. She's a great country singer. Kid Rock also paid tribute to Johnny Cash in a song
Yes they are rock/pop but she is from a little town about 25 min from my home and it is very middle of no where. She was a teacher there for awhile I think. Little farming town called Kennett, Missouri. USA
Kid Rock can play any type of music very well.. Hard Rock, Soft Rock, Country,Soul, Blues, and Rap/Hip Hop.. He can also play over ten instruments.. He did another duet with Sheryl Crow called "Collide". the video is very good too... It's just as good as "Picture".. please react to it,
Sir, I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found your channel. I tend to watch CZcams videos to calm down after tough days and your reactions to hearing some of the music from my life has given me more than one smile. You seem to be a very thoughtful guy and I enjoy your work. Thanks.
Love this one!! If you want to hear something wild tho- listen to his new single “We The People” - it is what MOST Americans feel now. It will blow your mind! 😳
A great duet with a great song. It shows how Kid Rock can do more than yell, rap, or curse. LOL Both their voices meld so well together I wish they did more together. Sheryl's songwriting and singing make her a stand-out no matter what she does.
When it first came out I watched it ever and over. I was a big fan of Sheryl Crow, but didn’t like Kid Rock. But this song is so beautiful and both their voices so fantastic. Perfect duet. Once again, I loved your reaction.
If you like Kid Rock, you should really check out “Amen” and “We The People”. Make sure you watch the video on that second one. Bypass the lyric video! ✌🏻❤️from Texas
Kid rock & hank Jr " redneck paradise " and " Johnny Cash " are 2 great song that shows kids more country side. Also kid & hank Jr " you can't use the f word " kid can just sing anything he's awesome. Hank, Jr kinda took him under his wing their really tight friend's. Hanks daughter was killed in a car wreck and a cpl months ago his wife died and kid was by his side.
Kid Rock had a great run with country songs, he does have a great catalog you can check out, some of my favs are Born Free; Redneck Paradise (ft Hank Williams Jr.); Cowboy; and Only God Knows Why. I’m pretty sure there’s more, those are just the ones I liked (and can remember). Enjoying your country journey! ❤️
I've seen Kid Rock 3 times in concert and he is the best performer I've ever seen live on stage. He gets treated horrible by the Main Stream Music Industry. I don't think he's ever had a #1 Billboard song or Album. But yet he has Gold and even Platinum records. Much love hun 🙏❤💙🦅🇺🇸🙏
This just shows -:you should never try to put music in a box. Or artists. Talent can transcend genres. This is a perfect example of it. Always loved both of them alone or together. They are just that good👍 dan, north fl.. til the next time… 6/09/22
Kid Rock is also a full fledged country loving American. You might want to see him display his full Patriotism by reacting to “ we the people”. The video is best.
Ricky van Shelton is another oldie but country goodie. Somebody lied I’ll leave this world loving you Life turned her that way He got you Don’t we all have the right. Thank you.
Hey there, I’m about to return to the UK and lived in the US for 12yrs. If you need country music ideas out the wazzoo I have a huge collection, just ask. Also, check out Toby Keith’s white rose.
Love Kid Rock - Have always loved this song. He has a variety of good music from different genres. I highly recommend this song and the beautiful official video that was filmed in his home state of Michigan. Kid Rock - Born Free - (Official Video) This song rivals a few songs from my favorite rock rebels Bruce Springsteen & Bob Seger with that raspy voice but has a southern/western vibe to it.
Okay, this was cool!! I've been meaning to check Kid Rock, out, because he's in one of Gretchen Wilson's videos, and I kept thinking "Why, on earth, is Kid Rock in her video", because all I knew of him, was that he rapped, and I'm not fond of that genre. I've heard this song, tons of times, and liked it; but, obviously, I didn't know who the male, was---I was just interested in it, because I like Sheryl Crow. I wouldn't label either of them, as Country music singers---just that they've dabbled in it---but, whadda I know, since I didn't even know who was singing!! Redneck Paradise duet with Hank Williams Jr is about as Country as he can get....Only God Knows Why is another of his mellower songs, but I wouldn't call it Country. Very good song though! When Kid Rock first started crossing over there were rumours about him being Hank Williams illegitimate son, but I honestly don't know if that was ever proven or not. I didn't care enough to follow up and find out...but I'm kind of a cynic and probably assumed it was a publicity stunt to draw attention to his crossover attempt.
Sheryl Crow is great and everything but the Allison Moorer vocals here are outstanding on the other released version. czcams.com/video/_icNErfQ12I/video.html

Kid Rock is everything from rap to rock to country. He likes to sample from all musical genres. Think he started out more rap. Now more country rock.
KidRock is surprisingly well rounded, he bought a property here in TN and loves the country life. If you get the chance, please watch the big interview with Dan Rather at KidRock's TN home and check out the song Tennessee Mountaintop by KidRock.
S. Crow's voice is just majestic when it comes in. She shines.
I did the personal security detail for Ms Crow with the USO when she came to Bosnia many years ago. The show was fantastic. She was not as famous back then. Right after that, we were lucky to get BB King!! What a lovely man he was too.
All Summer Long has to be next....love me some Kid Rock.
Only God knows why by kid rock is an awesome song
I love Kid Rock’s Blue Jeans and a Rosary. Also, he and Hank Jr were in Gretchen Wilson’s Redneck Woman video. He became pretty close to Hank Jr when they did Crossroads together.

This was me and Mama's favorite song together. If it was ever playing on the radio when we arrived somewhere, we sat in the truck til the end.
I could listen to them sing this song over and over. I feel these two together do it best.

Only God Knows Why is another great song by Kid Rock!
Last to know. Chris Stapleton and Sheryl Crow. Go for it!

I've never been much of a Kid or Sheryl fan but I LOVE this song.

Kid Rock and Hank Williams Jr are real close friends. Kid Rock recent Music style is a result of that friendship

Kid Rock and Hank Jr did a song called The F Word that I think you’d like.

I read they were dating when they cowrote this song. Don't know if they were.
