He's coping with the relationship that is currently failing (he feels like she no longer cares) by seeking unhealthy distractions and she is coping with his withdrawal by finding solice in another. Then you have a time jump 'til they encounter each other again.

I'm a big fan of sheryl crow not so much kid rock but hope you do more of her lol. some of her best songs are "if it makes you happy" and "soak up the sun"
Just the opposite for me. Especially since she took her political stance and showing the hate.
Me personally...I liked the original version that came out first with him and Alison Moorer. Their voices blended better together. Like I said...my personal preference.

They NEVER EVER dated, she also does NOT hate him. She did speak up when he attacked Taylor Swift, and asked him to apologize. She isn’t a person who carries hatred. That being said HE MADE A COMMENT just a few weeks ago saying that he had told his managers before the release of THIS TRACK ^^ that doing a song with Sheryl would end his career. He honestly believes that is what occurred.
I honestly believe he is fucking delusional, and it really REALLY sucks that his talent is wasted on someone who is spending his time spreading hatred towards others as opposed to getting his OWN ASS in the studio and making music.
