She scrubs up well. Can't believe I've been watching since day 1. All those cold wet nights in what was a metal shell with the bare ballast floors. You've done a marvelous job James, well done. I'm sure she'll be well loved and appreciated by her new owner. It will be great for them to have all the videos to look back on too.
Looking back at the footage, that winter was bleak to say the least. As you say sleeping on the ballast with no heating and lights - pretty rough compared to the luxury I have now 😂

Wow! In October of 2020 I had never heard of a narrowboat (the canal system here in America is long gone). Then I saw an online article about "If you want to get your mind off of the upcoming election check these CZcams channels out..." which had a link to "Cruising The Cut". Found you soon after, then MinimaList, Holly, Danni & Joe, The Foxes, Robbie Cummings etc. Four years later I know more about canals, boats, England than I ever thought possible and we are again in election season here in The States. I will continue to watch for the calmness that you all deliver. The rebirth of Sloe Patrol that you orchestrated is amazing! Sincerely happy days ! Will miss sloe but it’s on to bigger and better things !! You looked so young back then too ! It does make me proud. Truth be told, I haven’t completed much in my life and this one stands up there. Progression has and is being made for me which is good. You can keep watching my exploits on the next boat and there’s a bit more of sloe to come

When you look back you certainly put some blood sweat and tears in to sloe patrol! I loved them days, from the good times you had at kenilworth, to the time you had your maiden voyage . Sincerely happy days ! Will miss sloe but it’s on to bigger and better things !! You looked so young back then too ! Any way been a pleasure following sloe and you but now it’s you and what ever 58 is now called ( I’m old and can’t remember what you called her ! )

I have many Happy Memories of being involved with Young James's trials and tribulations with Sloe Patrol. I also have a single "Very Sad" memory of being with Young James's when I had some bad news. Hope all goes well with the sale Bud :-)

They are both around!! Carol is ok - a few dramas going on at home but she’s stoic. Sarky Bugger comments on every video still - she’s cool.

When I saw the title , Final narrowboat tour , I felt sadness, thinking I wasnt able to watch your exploits any longer ......but now i understand . The boat looks phenomenal !
It does make me proud. Truth be told, I haven’t completed much in my life and this one stands up there. Progression has and is being made for me which is good. You can keep watching my exploits on the next boat and there’s a bit more of sloe to come
