Judy Palmer Bendewald has been an Elvis Fan since 1956.
She traveled to Graceland in the 1960's,met Elvis and was there at the Music Gates the day Lisa-Marie was brought home from hospital in February 1968.
She took close up and clear photos of Elvis,Priscilla and the newly born Lisa-Marie as they passed through the gates of Graceland.
Judy joins me on the show to share her memories of the times she spent at Graceland during the 60's

It's great hearing Judy tell her stories! I just love them!!!! I first met Judy in Vegas in February, 1970.......there's a lot of pictures of us in her book.............Brenda and I were Canadian fans who flew down there to see him!!! We were long time fans loving Elvis since '56...........I had seen Elvis too in 1969 at the start of his live performances again!!! Wow those days were the best times ever!!! Luckily I saw 30 shows up until November of 1976......Judy was the photographer and I was a recorder of all the shows I ever saw...many of my bootlegs are out there.......I also filmed all of Seattle in 1970.......it's in the upcoming Sold Out 3...........I last saw Judy in Memphis in 2009 when she was selling her book..............she's a real sweetheart and we keep in touch thru Facebook................thanks for this fabulous interview Part 1......................

Judy is an amazing lady! I have met her several times and keep in contact with her on Facebook. She is so down to earth and genuine. To me she is a celebrity cause she was there for so many pivotal moments in Elvis' life. Great interview! ❤️😊👍
Very touching interview. It was so different then where people were lovely, normal, decent and kind. .funny too. There’s nothing that compares to eye witness accounts because she can tie little details together and still express a much larger portrait of a time, a place, candid and magical memories to share with us nearly 55 years out of these days. .✨

Ive heard her telling this story before. She’s such a sweet heart. They did so good for being such young girls. I’ve enjoyed her before. And shes has just a darling person! Wow. To be alive then. My family that was alive then didnt even try to go see him and he came to their area several times. I was like seriously. You should have went to see him just because it was elvis even if you didnt like him.

Wow, treasured memories is right! He was so down to earth. How many stars like him pay so much attention to their fans and actually talk to them and thank them for coming to see him? None! One of a kind in everything he did, and she was very lucky to have known him. Thanks for this interview.
Such a great interview with Judy! I really can’t wait for 2nd part. She has beautiful memories of pictures of Elvis, Cilla, and precious photos of little Lisa Marie. I’m so glad that we got to see Lisa as a newborn only few days old!! She looks jus like her Daddy, still til this day! She is so lucky to be Elvis’ daughter!!! I wish Lisa all the luck with being with Danny( ex husband ) I think they need each other right now with the loss of their son Ben!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️❤️💗♥️🙏💜💟
