The twinkling yet sublime soundtracks of old and recurrently ran RTS's and RPG's, the ghostly urban quality of listening to innumerable witch house bands with unreadable names back when last fm was still a (reasonably ;p) functional website, the unique feeling evoked by older and less obviously designed-by-committee childhood cartoons, and even that nigh on ancient moment when I first stumbled upon the cold majesty of symphonic black metal music - and admittedly a lot more innocent about the tiresome politics of the genre.
