Looooooove this matchup! Legit one of my favorite videos from y'all recently.
A couple of weird observations I noticed (and I might be missing something here), but did Michael actually have a One-Drop army? Because the Mirebrute is 12 wounds, and the Trogboss is 12 or 14, which means 2 drops minimum, even with battle regiment, right? Depending on David's drop, it probably wouldn't have mattered, but still. Also, not needing All-Out Attack because of the Sloggoth was valid, but when the Trogboss issues it, he gives +1 attacks to a Trog unit, too (😮). Which I think could made a difference at least once or twice. The all-Trog Gloomspite list is sweet as hell!
Also, I'm guessing this Ogor list existed before the big Arcane Tome nerf, because now you can't give it to a Priest, which I think David said was his general. So unless there's something I'm missing, I'm not sure that was legal.
Anyway... the Sloggoth is suuuuper dope. Free +1 ro hit rolls for basically everyone is amazing. The Mirebrute is certainly a valid unit, but he definitely seems weaker outside of Kruleboyz (also, when he fought, did he do his spear attacks? Without the rend, it probably would have whiffed anyway, but still). I want a Kragnos, but don't want to spend the money on him.

We had a total blast with this one, these armies definitely define our playstyles. Monster Trucks is full send all day and really puts the pressure on for you opponent to commit resources immediately, while th Troggoth list is great for counterstrike, surgical model removal, model recursion and late game points swings. This game could easily have gone 2 battle rounds had the roll off gone differently, but Michael was able to weather the storm and claw back. Im glad you enjoyed it and as always, really appreciate your support.
Unstoppable charge from a Stonehorn does not require a target within 3", just that it charged the same turn, so any of the stonehorns could have barged into some juicy targets T1 and pinned a lot more stuff ;)
This is good to know! I feel that I should have been more aggressive and tried to lift the Dankhold troggoth t1. It was sad to only kill grots in t1 lol.
FYI cant be a priest and a wizard at the same time - they changed this after LVO iirc
As far as I remember Frostlord bypasses this rule due to not being a priest. I'll look online but il fairly sure he still can take both
@@keferwtfthe frostlord is not a priest unless you give him the command trait to make him so. This becomes an issue of order of operations where you could give him arcane tome and then make him a priest which RAW is allowed. But the reverse is now not allowed.
@@willroarty1512 So it is allowed? Yeah I thought I read somewhere that they said in an FAQ I think for slaves that enchantments all happen at once so he isn't a priest when picking the tomb

If u had a unit of 3 fellwater troggs in the list (prob replacing unit of 3 rockguts) it would be crazy value taking the stone horn to an unmodifiable 4+ save or Kraggy at a 3
Great point, finding a way to rend through Kragnos or douse him with mortal wounds is the way to crumble that list. Maybe we will add some fellwaters to our collection soon!

Monstorous rampage doesn't have universal 3" requirement. Most rampages have 3". But ogor 3d6 has only you charged. T1 one stone horn could ram forward with that.

Wow this one was much closer than I expected it to be. A really fun round, and I think I was double right lol. Gitz pulled the dub and Kragnos smashed.
It was a high powered match up and a joy to play, we both ran armies that match our playstyle and was fun to see the Troggs go the distance against Monster Trucks

Ah the ogor list that plays itself. Tried bcr plus kragnos in tournament and swore never again as i literally had 0 decision to make all tournament.just roll dice.

Rule 1.3.3 is shows a picture
As long as there are 2 models in base to base contact on either side of the line, it is coherent. This is only possible with 25 mm bases as the base is less than 1" wide. Hope that helps, and thanks for checking out our content :)

Grotz are on 25mm bases so even when they're in line the first and the last one are in range of 2 other models.
