    Don’t feel too bad on responding fast. Others don’t even bother. I think that rear end or any other metal rear end should hold good Dennis. Good luck.

    Hi Dennis, please please please do the leaf springs on the rear, to see it hopping would be great, or you could put the A arms from the axle to the body to help stop the hopping, i done that to my MK2 Escort in the late 70s and it definitely worked A treat man. That big 1/6 Camero body shell is beautiful 🤩, you really find the best bodies for your rc’s. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧

    Just found you today an been watching your videos so I had to sub. You should build a 1/3 scale old F1 car with that 1/3 scale Cosworth DFV V8 I've seen from Bouland Motors. You definitely seem to have the skill to do it.

    Edit: you BETTER put that v8 in there....even if you gotta trim the firewall back a touch. Please please please make it happen! (With the blower)

    Definitely pass on the leaf springs. Having had an SS396/375 Camaro way back in '71 that wasn't fast or dangerous enough for me, I swapped it out for an L88 that was almost insane enough. To the point of the story... Whilst doing a speed run on a narrow back road one night, I pegged the 120MPH speedometer, saw a turn coming and backed off quickly. The result was that despite the slammer bars, one or both of the leafs immediately unloaded and started bouncing the car all over the road. It was an early driving lesson for me that I very luckily passed. Even though your RC Camaro probably won't try to kill you, the same physics apply and will certainly affect your enjoyment level :-)

      @dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol  Před 2 lety

      LOL! you have been to the mountain top also! I have a 375/396 convertible Camaro that is really a L88 that was owned by the GM Buffalo central zone office as a promotional vehicle and this is totally insane to drive lol!

    • @tonyradmilovich3154
      @tonyradmilovich3154 Před 2 lety

      @@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol A very dangerous mountain top indeed! Those old 1st series Camaros were a blast but unfortunately handled about as well as a drunk mule. After calculating my expected lifespan with a 500+HP street beast (and grenading my last L88), I went legit and turned it into a fully-fledged NHRA C/Gas racer and ran it for three seasons before moving on to Pro-Stock. Still one of my favorite cars.
