Beautiful kit great design easy and fun to build except my engine are missing the valve screws to attach to the engine and no spark plugs and the fuels section with the carb wont fit I tried every thing .. disappointed

where do you get the turbos ? just need a link

For the life of me I can't understand why I go through all the trouble to make it look like a small block Chevy but then put the distributor in the front...

If the distributor was in the proper place, then I'd buy one.

Pointy lobes =less duration, but looks like decent amount of lift

Hey Dennis. It's Matt. I've never left a comment but i've watched all your videos. MY grandpa got me started on balsa planes and tissue paper. I then moved on to rc cars and some free flight cox helicopters. lost a few of them. Anyhow, I really appreciate that you take the time to make entertainment and teaching so that every man can have his favorite smoke, beverage, and popcorn at the end of the day. I got interested in your videos when I saw the HGP knock off tamiya 3 speed and i bought the kit off some bs chinese website and i built it and forward mounted the servo and modified the trans. i love it. it really likes the 42 turn 2s. Its absolutely beautiful with the hand taped paintjob. ill make a video of it

I have the Enjomor V12. I had trouble getting it fine tuned because of ignition failures. What I did was milled the distributor housings a little deeper to accept the Cison L4-175 ignition sensors. I had to also widen the slot enough for the wiring harness tab to fit in such a way that allowed the circuit board to be completely flat and not make any contact with the rotor button. I used the Cison V8 ignition modules for each cylinder bank. Now, the Cison L4-175 sensor harness connector pins have to be rearranged so that the same colored wires match up. I also removed every other magnet in each rotor button and flipped the remaining magnets over. Once I finished putting it all together, I fired it off and it ran on all 12 cylinders until I saw a little steam coming from the vent tubes on the air filter base. It turns out there was an "O" ring failure in one of the cylinder liners. I've since fixed the issue (I hope), but I can't run it until the new timing cover bearings arrive. When it ran, it ran great.

That's a cool radiator. It looks like it's quite large, though. I believe it's going to be 6 1/2" x 10" wide, plus the added height of the fill cap.

Glad to see you back Dennis, was starting to wonder if you were sick or just dad gum busy! FID racing is legit, I have bought a ton of stuff for my 1/5th scale stuff. Very nice stuff not to mention there is a very nice lady I always email for details and pricing. Think her name is Mona. The prices are higher but the quality in the product reflects that. FID isnt a new company, they’ve been around for quite a few years, i have the fid dragon hammer, its a 1/5 scale gas powered 4x4 ultra4 style buggy with ifs and a solid rear axle

ONly seen 1 other. Blue, white ragtop restored it late 80s. THats one rare bird hate to see you get rid of it. Sometimes its nice just owning something cool. Price....sky is the limit, bet it would bid up more than you think. What Id give to get that back on teh road!

There was a thin black O ring that came with my engine that fits over the distributer housing that seals between the block and the distributer.

Completely irrelevant to the video, on my fs-l200, on both cylinders the exhaust valve is crack open, when I take off the rocker arms and push the valve down they go back closed. I also noticed with the rocker arms off, the valve bucket on one of the cylinders for the exhaust sits higher then the rest but when I put the rocker arm back on and spin the cam over, so the valve opens then closes, the valve stays cracked open on both cylinders and the bucket sits flush with the intakes. And what I mean by cracked is it’s slightly open and I can blow through the exhaust when the valve is supposed to be closed. Does yours or anyone else’s do this or did something go wrong with the manufacturing and the valve stems are too long? And what can I do to fix it if it’s not supposed to be like this?

top shelf Dennis! Watched a couple of your videos today. I wish I could get mine to start ! Had a doa Speed controller, a dead Hall effect sensor, and a Cinson CDI that wouldnt connect to hall sensor cable. All from the enginesdiy factory. Got that taken care of. Still wont run.. Had a couple of almost starts !! Then the starter motor smoked. Bought a new one from Stirlingkit. Using a 6s lipo for start (22.2v), and a 3s lipo for ignition (11.1v). using a 80a speed controller with a servo ctrl to crank it.

Anyone have an idea what the compression ratio is in the Cison? Manufacturer couldn't tell me.

The Cison OHV V8 is my favorite. I have ordered the flat-head version as well. When you run your Cison V8, keep an eye on the oil flow. If it stops flowing and there's plenty of oil, check the oil pump. In mine, the drive gear in the oil pump came loose from the shaft. The shaft has a "D" end on it but, the gear has a round bore not a "D" bore. High temp Loc-Tite has worked well for mine.
