- Meet Sister Mary Rose and Sister Mary Veronica, two Dominican nuns from the Piney Woods of East Texas. The Monastery of the Infant Jesus in Lufkin, Texas houses a community of cloistered Dominican nuns who live a life of contemplation and prayer. Watch as the sisters share - with humor and joy - their experience of a life dedicated completely to God.
The Catholics of East Texas is a video series that highlights the lives of individuals living out their Catholic Faith in the Piney Woods.

What do we think of other chirstain in
With all the things going on in our world today, I suspect that the pendulum is going to shift back to God’s reason and common sense, as mankind has tried all of the “new ways” (based on the false promises of Satan) and time and again these have been proven to fail - at a certain point, mankind will have to come back to reality and “cop on to himself” “cop himself on” and accept that he is going in the wrong direction and will have to turn back to God
I was abused many times by these Dominican nuns. I was a little boy, y’all were awful. You hurt me.
Thats too bad. I can't fathom how someone in the religious life does that then they go do their prayers and think everything is ok. One sister that was so nasty ended up leaving the order
I'm so sorry 😞 that happened 😢 and it did happen 😔 I feel sorry for all of them 😢 poor nuns
