  • We are very pleased to have seen so many successes with the LATERA implant, in treating compromised nasal airways. There is nothing better for us than to hear the words of happy patients like these, and see the difference better breathing makes in their lives.
From the manufacturer's site: "The LATERA Absorbable Nasal Implant is used to support upper and lower lateral cartilage in the nose, reinforcing the nasal wall like traditional cartilage and polymer grafts. Supporting the cartilage in this manner may reduce nasal airway obstruction symptoms and help patients breathe better."

Would this work for people with Rhinitis Medicamentosa?

I just discovered this today. I had a septoplasty go horribly wrong about 7 years ago and haven't been able to breathe through my nose since. One side deflates and inflates like a balloon when I try to breathe through it. How much does this procedure cost?

I had this done six weeks ago too. I don't need Flonase anymore! Its worth it if you have a collapsed nasal valve like I did

That ENT fucked this guys nose up, ENTS fuck up noses all the time and get away with it because of the 2 year statute of limitations. Godbless this doctor for doing the latera implant.

Not happy with it. Not sure if it’s my doctors fault. It really don’t improve much in my breathing and it messed up the look of my nose. Made the middle of my nose wider and made my nose turn up a bit. I pray that after two years my nose will return to normal. Does anyone know if it complete goes away?

I'm curious about how you're feeling right now. I'm about 2 weeks out and I'm NOT happy; the tips of the implant are sticking through my skin and it looks like I have pimples on my nose. (Not to mention, those little raised bumps are painful!)

With this help with overactive turbinates. When i sleep on left side, left nostril is plugged. Vice versa on right side. Thanks !

Please do not get TURBINATE SURGERY. If you are considering this, please search "Empty Nose Syndrome." Please are killing themselves because of this debilitating syndrome. With that said, I can't help you with your question.
      Best regards.

@@viktoriyapavlova848 .... the vivid lines will go away. I had them but they dissapear after about 6 months . The implants get absorbed ( dissapear to become part of your nose) . But as for the nose being wider, it stays the same as wide as you have it right now with the implants . Just the lines go away.

@@viktoriyapavlova848 ... i took anxiety pills to keep calm becouse its an anxious feeling not being able to breath through your nose. I also trained my self to mouth breath , it sucks but i mouth breathed until i got my nasal valve collapse fixed . I tried many prodecures with many ENT'S and nothing worked. So i stopped going to doctors. The intresting part is i actually fixed it myself the nasal valve collapse.... hey, i have a question ? do you have nasal valve collapse or swollen turbinates?
