My short review:
"I really love the whole contents as of what this game has like the story, the main gameplay, secrets and everything else combined right here. I for sure was amazed on several specific puzzles while playing it for the first time. Definetly something I would replay again in the future for sure!"
This game has multiple endings depending as of how to get through the game originally. This video covers up Ending 3. To be specific about endings in Shantae: Risky's Revenge, it isn't Story based at all but only at the very end where you see a different picture depending of your percentage and speed in your files.
Ending 1 (Be the Hero!): Beat the game with any % collected and with the total time of over 4 hours.
Ending 2 (Completionist!): Beat the game with 100% collected and with the total time of over 4 hours.
Ending 3 (Speedy and Greedy!): Beat the game with 100% collected and with the total time of under 4 hours.
Ending 4 (Speed Runner!): Beat the game with any % collected and with the total time of under 2 hours.

This game looks so old and classic after you play Pirate's Curse. I used to have it on my DSi but never beat it. Gonna play it again after I beat the first game on GBC

For almost this entire play through i though when it had a magic jam symbol then a number that's how much magic jam you needed

I love this game, it looks so classic even tho it was released in 2010... for me, at least, it looks like a game that would release in the 90s

Awesome walkthrough. I'm glad that it looks so much clear and in HD. Because I watched a CZcams video of this game and it was hard for me to see the dialogue box of the characters talking and the gameplay. It was all blurry and everything.

I had no idea you needed fireballs to get to the monkey bullet, I just kept smashing myself against the wall with the elephant until I found this video.

Shantae is a lot grumpier in this game
She doesn’t even have a single happy dialogue pose. It’s really strange, especially because being super upbeat and optimistic is one of her most prominent character traits in Pirate’s Curse and onward.

I swear to God, I charged into that damn gargoyle with the elephant and it did not break. I was stuck in that dungeon for over an hour. Normally when I have to look up a guide, I feel defeated, this time I feel cheated.

I'm stuck/suck at this game. Doesn't have map and pin point objectives on where to go. Maybe I'm not a fan of Metroidvania genre.
The game seems very Wonderboy esque, with maybe just a tiny hint of Castlevania. Shame too, as I have always MUCH preferred the Symphony of the Night style of gameplay when it comes to Metroidvania's.

This game honestly feels like it probably could have been done on the Gameboy Advance. In fact, this would have been one amazing game had it actually came out for the GBA. Probably should have to be honest.
There has been plans in the past after the first Shantae release for GBC that they wanted to make a sequel to be on GBA but got cancelled due to not having a puplisher. By checking here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shantae on the bottom of the page you can see the details.

Funny this game uses foreground / background but they dropped that for 3ds
I already rage quit this game over. It has way too many input delays . Your character doesn't have much time to react when going to the backgrounds and such. If it is possible people should sue game companies for not finishing their games on release.

It's not the worst but I can get how annoying it was to go through on the first playthrough. It's something you gotta learn it first that this is even a possibility or something similar to manage.

This is the best game I play in my DS, if you don’t see the art in this game you’re done
