Don't put more than ten creatures in one tank because if you exeed that limit it will kill one of them to make space for the new one.

Tips
1: thermal plant only works near heat vents(like the one that burned you) and will provide more energy based on how hot the vent is. There is one in the safe shallows. If it’s too far, you can use power transmitters (scanned at the aurora wreck)
2: the green brine in the lost river damages the player/vehicles on contact, but the prawn suit is immune. If at least one hand is normal(no grapple, drill, prawnsuit propusion cannon, etc) the prawn can pick up things beneath the brine.
3: crystalline sulfur is very important for players in mid game/endgame. It can be found under green brine and can be used to do stuff like upgrade the prawn suits jets.
4: ghost leviathans can be avoided with the cyclops if u use silent running, slow speed, and turn off headlights. If they still target you, enable the shield generator, that recipe you found in this video. Be aware that it drains your battery very quickly.
5: to get lost river stuff like crystalline sulfur, nickel, and the deposits of practically every other ore in the game, build a quick lost river scanner room base using a scanner room, fabricator, optionally a power cell charger, and a thermal plant. To expand the base, make sure to bring at least 25 titanium( you won’t need more because of all the titanium deposits in there)
6 not a tip but just something fun, you can take your cuddlefish outside to play with them. You can toggle for them to follow you around or not. They have a lot of health, even more than reefbacks do, but u shouldn’t take them on cyclops trips because they can still die.
7: nickel is commonly found under blue brine.
8: if more than 10 creatures are in containment, creatures will die until there’s less than 10. Keep your cuddle fish outside.
9: crabsquids (those 4 eyed, squid like monstrosities) will attack the player and seamoth no matter what, but will attack more if there is light, so turn off flashlights and seamoth headlights.

Thermal plants need to be built nearby a source of high temperature like thermal vents. You can use power transmiters if it's not close enough to the base
The crabsquids are attracted to light, that's why they keep attacking you and using their pulse ( like in 6:22 )
You can actually play with the Cuddlefish, just grab him and take it outside your base, it will let you play with him ^^
I've beaten* this game before so I want to give you some pointers.
Pointer 1: The Lost River(green area) Ranges from 550-1000m; The Giant Cove Opening(Blue area with the tree) Within The Lost River leads to The Inactive Lava Zone ranging from 900-1300m; The Inactive Lava Zone leads to The Lava Lakes ranging from 1300-1500m.
Pointer 2: The Lava Lakes are MANDATORY to beating the game, because they house the Primary Containment Facility Required to beat the game.
Pointer 3: You Will need: Cyclops Depth Module MKIII, Prawn Suit Depth Module MKII, a Reinforced Dive Suit, at least 3 purple tablets, and at the Primary Containment Facility save the blue tablet;
I recommend you bring: Cyclops Thermal Reactor, Prawn Suit Thermal Reactor,and a couple Ion cubes.

I would highly recommend finding and crafting the cyclopes thermal reactor module before going beyond the cove tree.
Trust me, it prevents a lot of pain.
You should make a base in the lost river (name of the green place) as it will give better access to the tree and there are many resources to be found, especially under the green fog like stuff, which you can only go under with the prawn suit

You are almost to the end of the game! I'm rather impressed by how much of the story you've pieced together, most people don't pay enough attention to realize some of the things you have. Love your videos!

And just one tip for you: Upgrade Prawnsuit to Depth 2 and then use it to get the material for depth 3!
You can easily get past the huge translucent leviathan by using silent running and slow speed on your cyclops (they won't even know you're there)

Meanwhile in my playthrough I just put everything in cyclops and using it as mobile base 😂
I have efficiency module and thermal module anyway so it is pretty sustainable
1 quick tip:
You can put a scanner room anywhere.
If you can’t find something just build a scanner room where you think that something is.
