BRICS nations call for talks between Russia and Ukraine

- An influential group of emerging economies is calling for talks between Russia and Ukraine. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa have been navigating major shifts in the geopolitical scene and worries on economic growth. Through the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping has been touting his alternative to the US-led global order. He has heavily criticised global sanctions and called on the BRICS to be more vocal to protect multilateralism. The sentiment was largely shared by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who also urged deeper ties between the nations.

BRICS could be the better alternative for global stability compared the west NATO and the European Union.
I think BRICS goal is first to expand BRICS to all of Asia, South America, Africa and the Middle East. After that, the goal is to lure the west, or better said the US satilites, away from NATO and European Union.
