Sometimes as gardeners, we have to make the hard choices when it comes to our trees in our plants. The tree looks so much better not being way down with the extra branches and fruit. The chickens look good 🐓
This is one of the roughest parts when you own fruit trees. Great tutorial Bull. Your trees look so healthy. I've gotta follow your lead now. 😬 I'm dragging my feet on purpose. LOL!
Welcome back, Bull. SO MANY PEACHES, omgosh. I’ll get there one day! 😂🌱❤️ Not gonna lie, my stomach dropped to see those peaches thinned, but you have a ton remaining. I’ll be happy if I get ten donut peaches this season!
Howdy Brother- that would be hard for me to do. I don’t know if our peach trees will even bloom this year. Peaches are my favorite. Hope you have a blessed harvest this year. God’s blessings to y’all
Hi Bull! Congratulations to your grandson!🎉🎉 It was hard for me to watch you take the peaches off that tree, but I know you had to do it. That tree loves your soil. 😊 How old is the tree? I have two peach trees in containers. They're fairly small. They have a few peaches, but they drop fruit almost everyday. I've got to find a spot for them and get them in the ground.
My peach tree is five years old, she been putting our fruit like crazy for the past three years. Definitely get your peach tree out the container and into the ground, find a nice sunny location in your yard and don’t procrastinate over it ❤❤
Hello Bull, It's been a while. As you know I am a beginner Gardner with only one peach tree and two pear trees. This would be so hard for me to do to my tree. My tree is still small, but I can feel every snip you make, but you know what is best. Jean in Ohio
Even though your tree is small, this coming winter prune a 3rd of each branch, that will promote vigorous new growth and fruiting next spring, don’t be afraid to prune, it’s beneficial for your tree
Beautiful peach tree. I was 😔 to see you trim that tree, but I know it is necessary. Question: Can you root branch cutting from a fruit tree at this time/ season?
I know it hurts to do that, but I wish someone had told me to do it with my first peach tree. I lost it because the weight of the branches broke it in half when a storm hit.
If your fruit tree is small and producing fruits, it’s not necessary to prune your tree while it’s fruiting, however this coming winter remove a 3rd from each branch, that will promote vigorous growth and fruiting next spring. I pruned and removed fruits off my tree because it was super loaded and some branches were touching the ground. Don’t be afraid to prune your trees, it beneficial to your trees
I think that was an appropriate amount of pruning, the branches and fruits are not touching the ground now. People are afraid of pruning their trees, trees benefit from pruning bro. If, I left all those fruits on the tree I would end up with a bunch of small peaches
Best wishes to your grandson and his new wife.
That tree looks beautiful.
Thanks so much, appreciate it
Hi Bull Every time you snipped I just had to look away. Many blessings to your Grandson. Peace and Blessings.
I know it was rough doing thinning all those peaches, thank you, we had an amazing time

Yes, you are right. Can’t get greedy and end up harming your tree. Tree is still loaded and the tree can now support the weight of the fruits,

Your tree will get there, just keep nurturing it and she will bless you abundantly when the time is right.
Hi , she’s a beautiful peach tree with nice peaches
She is beautiful for sure and the peaches are so delicious
Howdy Brother- that would be hard for me to do. I don’t know if our peach trees will even bloom this year. Peaches are my favorite. Hope you have a blessed harvest this year. God’s blessings to y’all
Hope you get enough brother, my chickens are enjoying the thinned out peaches

I see your results so I will cut my branches in the fall. Should I cut back the pear trees as well?
Beautiful peach tree. I was 😔 to see you trim that tree, but I know it is necessary. Question: Can you root branch cutting from a fruit tree at this time/ season?
Most definitely, this is the best time of season to propagate or do air layer to your fruit trees
I know you did what you had to do, but that hurt my heart ❤️! I love peaches! 😢😮😅
Then you’ll have to prune your fruit trees this coming winter, it’s necessary and beneficial
Wow so many peaches. Can you save the small ones you cut off and have small bite sized peaches. That’s a lot of peaches 😊
I don’t think they will ripen at this point, but my chickens will enjoy them as snacks
Great 👍🏾

Thank you so much bro appreciate it
Do you put compost and/or fertilizer around the base of your fruit trees? If yes, when? Everything you grow is so lush and healthy.
Thank you Sandra, yes during winter I lay compost and aged woodchips, early spring and mid summer I fertilize with compost and 10-10-10
Hello Bull wecomehome. 💕NonaGrace 🐓
Thanks for coming much appreciated
I know it hurts to do that, but I wish someone had told me to do it with my first peach tree. I lost it because the weight of the branches broke it in half when a storm hit.
Yes it’s definitely not worth the extra peaches, your trees are more valuable to us, a loaded tree and a storm is a disaster in making
How do you decide which ones to cut? I ask because this is our 1st year our peach tree is producing. Is it the smaller ones sacrificed? Tfs

Ok I'm cutting 🤣
That’s what’s up ✊🏾
