In the 49 years I’ve followed United, from the early part of that season I knew it was gonna be special .. that awesome team will be hard to beat.. great memories 🟧⬛️🟧⬛️🟧👌
This was when I first started watching fitba & I have to say it was a special time for supporting a team outwith the uglies. Utd had a special team back then & I loved our 'new firm' battles. Scottish fitba was brilliant back then. Stand Free.🇦🇹🐑🇦🇹
I would love to see footage of Ralph Milne's goal at Celtic Park in April of that year, a match I attended as a neutral but left as an admirer of a superb United side who had Gough unfairly sent off but still won 3-2
That was a great Utd team, they should probably have won more during that period in all honesty. Who can forget them reaching the European Cup Semi-Final the following year, then the UEFA Cup Final in 87. Brilliant days for New Firm fans. It would be incredible to see something approaching this again, but alas, those days are long gone.
i think you should rephrase that, they could have won things but in no way should they have won anything, the only reason they did so well was jim mclean
@@jamesirvine9493 I think you need to comprehend what i said. I didn't say they should've won more. I said they should PROBABLY have won more. That's a massive difference.
@@jamesirvine9493 No, it doesn't 'cancel' it. James, you need to walk away from this. OK. It's evident you're just a wee laddie and i make a point of not interacting with children. So off you go and look for a child to start a pointless argument with. All the best to you, and take care of yourself.
