  • Located in southeastern Iran, Chabahar Port is a critical trade route for India, Iran, Afghanistan, and Central Asian countries. As the only Iranian port with direct access to the sea, it plays a vital role in regional connectivity and trade.
Chabahar Port's development is significant for India's trade relations with Central Asia and Afghanistan, bypassing Pakistan. Its strategic importance is further highlighted by China's development of Gwadar Port in Pakistan, which poses a challenge to India's naval security in the Arabian Sea.
Chabahar Port's integration into the International North-South Transport Corridor will streamline India's access to Europe and enhance trade prospects for Iran and Russia. With its strategic location and potential for growth, Chabahar Port is a crucial element in regional trade and politics. Watch Now!

Nehru missed the golden opportunity to have land border with northern Afganistan.
It was reported he rushed back from London and immediately stopped the indian army from recapturing Gilgistan and north west frontier from. Pakistan.
Probably Nehru was working with British agents to let go Gilgistan to Pakistan

Do you know that the Indian Army was led by British Generals at that time and the Army reported to the Governor General of India (Mountbatten). Nehru could only request Mountbatten to do something and Mountbatten adviced Nehru to go to the UN.

@@Value_Pilgrim Gilgistan was joined with Pakistan probably by British for strategic reasons.
The Pakistan army was led by British officers who wanted control of Gilgistan which has land borders with Afganistan and china.
By supporting Pakistan against india the British and USA wanted favors from pakistan.
They wanted military presence in Gilgistan to watch china and Russia.

Pakistan creation was part of great Anglo -Soviet game. And Gandhi and Nehru were both British agents.

@@Damien_Mctyline Actually according to BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, both Nehru and Gandhi were freedom fighters and RSS as well as Atal Bihari Vajpayee were police informers.

Its high time that we should build this port ASAP.
Railways towards Afghanistan and Caspian Sea is also pending.
Gwador is not shipping to China but for Chinese Naval Outpost.
BTW for these ports, Chinese are always happy as Chinese goods will be shipped in majority.

As an exporter, I can easily calculate massive benefit is freight cost of Indian imports and exports consignments which saving can cross huge amount and give competitive edge over China. Hindutva and hate mongering attitude resulting using another port make very little advantage and dangerous route of war torn Afghanistan link Centr !!!!a Asia. Indian exporters can deliver their consignments to biggest market of Europe via rail link Pakistan, Iran, Turkey can bring down freight cost to less than half. Resove biletral issue with Pakistan and take the best advantage before Chinese make high speed road link through Pakistan to the main markets of Europe, Central Asia and build cheap gas pipelines through Pakistan !!!!!!
