1. You could see the 808 track level and it never hit red or even yellow.
2. And he could have the monitor level too high not the actual level of the instruments fool.
Wow an 808 kit over a splice loop. Please tell me how you think the end result will be anything other than another boring ass trap beat. It's so depressing. Zero skill involved.

6:27 just selected all, right click and select "force legato." This will make all the notes' ends butt up against the next one. Saves time!

Reminds me of the days when all I had to make beats on my mom's iMac and I had an NFR copy of Logic Express 9 that an Apple rep gave me when I was working in music sales, a pair of Ultrasone Pro 650 Headphones, a bunch of drum samples and no keyboard or pad controller so I had to make beats exactly the way he's doing now...using the keyboard keys in MIDI mode. Damn that took me back! Good shit!

Dope tutorial! I never really used the Note repeater, but it def makes putting together the Hats a whole lot easier.
My mouth dropped cause I literally spend 20 minutes drawing hats. Then end up making them simple because.. well you know shit be difficult lol

hi here you state that you used - Download Drum Sauce Drum Kit (Used in Video). However we have gone and purchased the Drum Sauce Drum Kit from Producergrind and we have noticed the sounds are all WAV and we cannot edit them at all.
Hey I can't figure out how you get logic to play the claps for example. I drag the file into logic but when I play the keyboard it still plays a piano sound, not the clap. How do I change that? Thanks
yo does anyone know how to set up note repeat the way he did? like where one key or set of keys plays a certain tempo and all I do it press another one right after which has another tempo and I can just do that as much as want whenever I want? I can't seem to figure it out.

Thank you so much. Is there really an advantage to having interface and all of that other stuff? I can hear myself just fine through my headphones on my IMac, and recording seems to sound good also on my vocals. I have instrumental tracks that I’m using. I’m a beginner so what I do you think?
There is definitely an advantage of having a DAW over not having one for recording vocals. DAW allows you to put effects to make your vocals sound good. There are things called plugins that act as effect extensions that can make your voice sound 10x better. Hope this helps

Where do I find the note repeat you used on the hats? I’m just starting to use logic and haven’t stumbled across this feature yet.. this would save me so much time! Thanks in advance!
there's a toolbar with the icon, that you need to add from the preferences menu..when you look at the video, you can see on the left hadnside where the icon is highlighted...same place where the icons for the mixer and sound library are.....you usually have to go to preferences to manually include it in the toolbar
