    I have had excesive underarm sweating since the age of 13. I am 26 so it has been for half my life. Mine is linked to a life long Anxiety Disorder. I can get out of the shower, put a shirt on and my armpits are soaked within minutes. Other days I sweat very little. The point is no matter how long you live with the symptom it never gets easier. I don't feel embarrassed or ashamed anymore. It is the constant uncomfortableness that it what is worst. I hope to one day soon be able to get this proccedure. Good luck to anyone else suffering.

    I’ve had excessive underarm sweating for years. I tried EVERYTHING. I have been getting Botox for the problem for years. ABSOLUTELY WORKS FOR ME. The best part is now my insurance pays for it. I use numbing cream and or ice packs right before injections. My doctor does it quickly. It’s annoying but works.

    For anyone that has Hyperhidrosis, I got fed up trying to find a medical solutions and tried methods to help my lifestyle. I eventually placed ladies period pads under my armpits. It works amazingly. I think it must stop the negative spiral somewhat. Normally..sweat, armpit get wets, gets cold, sweats more, spiral. Now... sweat, swear absorbed into pad, no spiral. Most of the time that is. It may sound a bit strange for some people but it works amazingly for me. Place the pad into the armpit of your shirt. Sorry I don't have any solutions for people who sweat elsewhere on the body. Good luck

    I always felt very limited by the clothes I was able to buy and wear because of my severe sweating problem. I would be terrified of being 'found out' and thought of as 'that sweaty girl'. After using Dermadry I am very comfortable with my clothing choices and hugging my friend without the moment of panic of flashing my sweaty pits or rubbing them with my sweaty pits.

      Hi Dr Tim. Thanks for your great video. What is your reason for not using the standard dilution of 4mls in 100 units? I am just interested as your way would be much simpler but I assumed that the lower ratio caused wider diffusion and therefore better results?? What is your opinion?

    • @tpearce9320
      @tpearce9320 Před 7 lety +4

      I read a long time ago that diffusion of product over 2.5mls per might decrease efficiency as so much of it is pushed away from the ideal location- in the case of the dermis when injecting the axillae it may not be a significant difference as this area is not prone to side effects. I like the 1.25mls per side because it's plenty to cover the entire area and extra volume adds to discomfort and I don't perceive a significant benefit, but I'm sure results will be very similar either way.

      For the odor do this (this is what i do and it works): everytime you shower wash your armpits like normal with your soap then after put a small handful of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (the brown bottle) on your armpit. Itll clean that area of the body odor causing bacteria. Then when you get out of the shower, dry the area and put a finger smear of MILK OF MAGNESIA (blue bottle) and thatll help prevent bacteria growth and odor. Ive been using this for years and it always works. It doesnt stop my hyperhydrosis but it keeps you smelling clean even if you sweat.

    I don't have to be scared or always conscious like I've been for the past 20+ years. I'm kind of surprised Dermadry worked, but it did. The first week or so I did it every day and I could finally see results. Since then I do it maybe once every week or week and a half. There is still a slight scent coming from underarms every now and then so they're not bone dry mind you. But I don't have to wear an undershirt anymore and that's a HUGE change from my day to day life.
