This KX450 has me questioning everything.

- Casey and I rode a KX450 at Mill Creek. The power and exhaust are intoxicating. It handled awesome and the suspension was surprisingly good in the woods for being a motocross bike.
I ride a 14 kx450 i just rode 6 hours of hard enduro at walker valley orv park, other bikes i the group were a 23 wr450, 2020 ktm350 and a 05 wr450.
Im running shinko tires and 12 52 sprockets and had no problems, I've yet to put my rekluse in.
I love my 23' kx450!❤
I rip a 08 kx450 on single track and hard enduro. I run 12 53 sporockets and that makes it 50% better on the tight stuff. I wish I could find flywheel weights for my old bike. One day I will get a real enduro bike but until that day I will ride the most powerful (and loudest) bike in the group.

my race bike [kx450] rides amazing in the woods i prefer it over my buddies yz its a 2022 my bikes a 13 and walks everything on the trails

What sprockets are you running? Just got an 09 kx450f and all that bike wants to do is kill me with slow speed
I don't own this bike so I'm not 100% sure. I would imagine it is stock gearing. If you want to be able to run a gear higher when doing slow stuff for instance if you are running in first now and want to be able to run it in second go a tooth smaller in the front. If you want first gear to run out further then go bigger. You can fine tune it with the rear as well but it works opposite of the front. Hopefully, that helps and thank you for watching.
put a recluse clutch in it a flame out when going slow is gone. u can go anywhere slow with it and never flame out. they r going near me for 6995.00 plus tax which is a bargin compared to everything else
Ya, I almost guarantee there will be a few four-strokes added to the fleet within the next year haha. We rode another four-stroke the other day which impressed us even more than this one. The video of that will be out probably next week. Thank you for watching!
I had to adjust my clutch lever when I noticed i was stalling alot
@@410SavageJoeyeah I agree with this. The lever is kind of way out there. Even for my big hands. I adjusted it some but getting it exactly where I want it created a lurch. So I had to compromise a little. Also I keep my idle slightly on the high side to help prevent flame out. I have had good success with it.

It sure did. I'm a die-hard 2 stroke guy, and this was one the first 4 strokes I had ridden in a long time. It started me down a rabbit hole towards getting a 4 stroke, and after riding several Beta 4 strokes, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Everything....haha. mostly whether I've just been a 4 stroke hater all my life or if I could see myself riding/racing one. Since this video, I've ridden several other 4 strokes, and I get it now, haha. I still love my 300 2 stroke, but I think I'm gonna give a 350 4 stroke a shot, hopefully next year.

@davidmolyneux7284 this is a friend's bike but with some gearing changes it would be a really good woods bike. It has smooth power but a bit much for me at times. I don't find it necessary to have the 450 power all the time, so that's why I'm aiming more towards a Beta 350.

Whether I want to buy a four stroke or stay with two strokes. This KX450 is a blast to ride, and the power and sound it makes are incredible. Recently rode a KTM 350XC, and it is even better. Ride other bikes is fun but it makes you want one of each, haha.
I I have the Gasgas EX350F. Great bike for the woods. Dropped 1 tooth on the front sprocket and no more flameouts. Every onr who rides it comes back grinning like a kid. @@BAEnduro
@rookietrucker1240 the 350 seems to be the perfect size 4 stroke for a do it all bike. We really want to ride a Beta 390 and 430 to see how they compare.

@@mattcoleman6250 4 strokes have linear power, the more throttle you give the faster you go, a some 2 strokes are like a light switch, you have nothing, then you have everything.
