The April 13, 2024 skit with Ryan Gosling...Bevis and Butthead was pretty funny. Technically, it wasn't Keenan who made them break, but it was so funny the whole cast broke, except the extras.

I can see the one WUWT where Sam Jackson says a bad word and cracked everyone up so that could apply, but I can't remember a BJ sketch where he made them break, altho I stand corrected

I grew up watching him on All That, am glad he continues on SNL
If I'm remembering correctly, he was the taxi driver on All That that would yell, "KUMQUAT!!!" at anyone who pissed him off lol
I can't believe there aren't more sketch shows. A lot of SNL alumni go off and make it big and do a bunch of movies, but in all honesty I prefer watching them and sketches. It's really weird but besides watching bugs Bunny I watched a lot of Saturday night live with my dad growing up.
Kenan's presence on SNL never gets old for me. I actually dread the day he leaves. His skits with Leslie as husband and wife were always particular faves 😂
He's been funny since childhood from the mighty ducks, heavyweights, all that and his own comedy sketch show with kel. he's gifted with comedy

When I watched All That, I always knew he was the biggest star on the early run. When I was old enough for SNL I always knew he was make it there someday and look at him now ... the longest lasting cast member in the history of the show!

Probably worth noting there are two versions of these more modern skits- the dress rehearsal recorded for CZcams and then the actual live version.
There lobster skit was really good example of where you really needed to see the live show, which I did, along with the replay show- there were mistakes in both versions that really made the skit so much more funny. It's difficult to find the live versions on CZcams unless it's a fan recording it then reloading it.
There was one time where Keenan appeared as LaVar Ball on "Inside the NBA". In that case, that crew (Charles Barkley, Kenny "The Jet" Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, and Ernie Johnson) did their segment from Studio 8H because Charles Barkley was about to host SNL for the fourth time.
Kenan Thompson may be one of the funniest people to ever live. He was even funny on the childrens shows in the 1990's.

As an old guy and a fan of SNL from the beginning people are always saying modern SNL isn't as good as the old ones. Perhaps the writing isn't as good bud Kenan is as talented and funny as any of the originals and better than most. Chevy Chase and Bill Murray weren't half as funny or had perfect timing like Kenan
