I fancy picking up a white ps2 soon. A bright white ps2 is just in my focus right now.

A ps2 slim or phat model? The white color has a really nice aesthetic. Cheers!

@@RetroReWire could be either. I live in a 220v country so the slim has an advantage there as the psu is universal. The phat is 100v only. I just bought a hori white ps2 memory card so the project has started hehe.

wow that selection is crazy. That x68000 lineup is actually insane, never seen all those together before. The price is high, I would like to play Castlevania on one. But they are good to look at on a shelf anyway lol

It was very cool to see them machines lined up like that. The price tag is high, but the thought of playing Castlevania is appealing. I’ll have to stick to my PS1 copy, however. Haha, cheers!

I love hunting for games in Japan and I'm glad I found your channel.
I'm going to Japan for the third time in March. I just got one question and I hope you can help me with it. How do you ask for things in the glass case display in Hard Off or Super Potato? In Akihabara, shop's with used figures often have small pieces of paper that you write all the info on, buy I doubt it's like that in Hard Off and SP.

There are a number of ways I have tried in the past. You can show them a picture, google translate, or even speak some basic Japanese. "Sumimasen, shōkēsu no naka no gēmu (o) kaitaides." From there you can point toward the showcase in question or show the picture or point at the game/item and say "kore kudasai." Shops in busy areas like Akihabara and Nipponbashi Denden (osaka) may have English speaking staff. In fact, the Surugaya in Osaka's Denden town has an English speaker. I hope that helps! Enjoy your upcoming trip and thanks for tuning in, cheers!

@@RetroReWire I was planning to, as you said, just show them the photos, but it's nice to have some phrases to use. Thanks you for your advice.

Indeed, Wii U and game pads have found their way into the junk section. Some Hard Off stores have them in stacks! Haha, cheers!
