Yep! I saw the game at a Hard Off in Saitama last week, too.
Look at that snow buildup! Goodness. I want to go skiing in Hokkaido at some point so I'm looking forward to seeing what retro games I can find while I'm there.
Suruga-ya is easily my favorite chain for retro games.

The difference in price of a cib vs loose copy of splatterhouse for the famicom is crazy!
I'm glad you pointed that out. Some of these games loose a lot of value when it's cart only. They also had a loose copy of Hagane priced at ¥9,900. It typically goes for ¥40,000+ CIB nowadays. Cheers!

Gradius 2 was a good deal mine cost 8000 and generic tray. Sapporo looks amazing I might go but it's 8 hours on train. I love trains but 8 hours is too long.
I was happy with the Gradius 2 pickup. The flight from Tokyo to Sapporo is about 1:40, so not long at all. I’m looking forward to the next visit. Cheers!

Hi!I see how much you travel around Japan and maybe you've seen a game called Dennou Taisen DroneZ for the original Xbox? I can't find it for my collection and I don't even know how much it can cost and does it exist at all?
I don't recall ever seeing 電脳大戦 DroneZ during my travels. It looks like an interesting title! I see a that a copy sold on Mercari last month for ¥10,000, but pricing seems to vary wildly. At the moment there is only one listing and it's for a sealed copy:
