I'm wondering if the reason that Rachel was "left out" is that it's a "then and now" video, and there isn't as much "then" video of Rachel from her rookie year? I've seen every season, and I don't recall much screen time for her.

I'm wondering if they don't have much video of Rachel during her rookie season. Technically, this is a "then and now" video, and not a true representation of every point there's been. I've watched every season, and I only really noticed Rachel during show group auditions a few seasons ago, because she was never featured much.

It was brought up during the first meeting or media training in Season 5. We may not know what happened behind the scenes after that, but it's possible they were going to give her a chance to redeem herself while accepting some type of punishment.
She wasn’t the only point who did black face. Rachel W also did it and it was at a DCC event.

I think it’s pretty wild that Witney I. was let into training camp after the party photos of her were brought out during interviews. Not to mention, she was all over the news for doing bl@ckf@ce on halloween. Yet she was still point and cover of the calendar. DCC truly picks their favorites and theyre untouchable.

To say the favorites are "untouchable" might be a bit of an overstatement. Case in point: Holly Powell.. who was also point at least once.

I know Jenna left on not the best terms but she was instrumental to DCC for years and it sucks that they’re essentially trying to erase her from DCC history

It's not just a video of them as Point. It's a "then and now". Neither Crystal or Rachel have a ton of early video, they were never featured rookies ( though Crystal's sister was ).
None of them are main points.
Probably because Jenna had point taken away from her. Kash ended up being Point that year. And possibly with Rachel W there’s never a lot of footage of her
Dallas Cowboy’s cheerleaders are paid a mere $150 per home game, equating to $1200 per season. They also have mandatory practices 2-5 times per week during the season.
Thus, cheerleaders have to maintain other full-time jobs to provide for themselves or rely on the income of their husbands or others to survive. This is chauvinism at it's worse!

But the mascot gets more than that.... being on the DCC is volunteering to be a slave. Their salaries are a joke. A no-body on the football team probably gets 20 times what a DCC gets and thats scandalous.
The cheerleaders are not a valued part of the organization. If they were, they would get paid more. That means the ladies must start valuing themselves; they put up with a lot of crap to be a part of the squad.

To everyone saying they wish __________ was shown in the video, you have to remember that this is a Then & Now compilation. If someone who was a point didn’t get a lot of camera time on the show, that is the reason they’re not in this compilation.
I’m sorry but out all the girls that made point, I’m proud of Gina the most. I don’t say this enough but she was overlooked. This girl was very showy she embedded everything it is to be a DCC. Gina is a rockstar and I hope she knows she’s got fans here in the UK 🇬🇧 🥰. I really hope for the next DCC team that Lexi gets the second look of the triangle because she absolutely deserves it. These girls work too hard. I hope they’re getting paid well because if It was up to me they would get paid £30 per hour.
Lexie is retiring, unfortunately. :( I'm hoping Caroline and Claire share point this next season! :) There are a lot of deserving girls, but those 2 are just absolutely stunning and powerful dancers. Perfect for point. Ashlee would be a great choice too!

I was going to flip a damn table if they didn't include Nicole. Crystal definitely should have been included especially considering she was point the following year Nicole retired.

I loved Crystal Trevino. Her rookie year was the first season I ever watched and I couldn’t believe my eyes when she did her second year transformation. Well deserved point. Crystal and Jennifer K are my favourite points. Why did they show only strict Jen moments!? She has so many talking and fun moments

Same. Reminds me of the season where Meredith was a rookie. K and J were so adamant on a 36 member squad. It has to be 36. No matter what. Guess they forgot they’ve had a team of 38 and 32 before and didn’t make a big deal out of the number. Then. Guess they all got amnesia and forgot that bc they had a team of 37 Meredith’s rookie year but they’d only have 36 on the field. The 37th girl stayed in the locker room or they’d have her split with another DCC in between quarters so each girl would dance half the game.

As much as I'm a little annoyed Rachel isn't included, there could be various reasons as to why Rachel isn't included. Honestly, Rachel is the THE prettiest DCC in my personal opinion (while a lot of them are beautiful) Rachel W is just ... WOW. I think as long as we fans recognize that she's been a point of the triangle these last two years (and will be again for 2022 if she doesn't retire) then we will just see more of her. But 2021 season there wasn't much screen time for her, or even in 2020. So, who really knows.

Yay Points Video!!! I would love to see more journey videos. For example "Nichole Hamolton's journey, Sidney Duros's journey, Jackie Bob's Journey." And maybe like a video of the almost girls. Meghan Flarhity(sp) and Miranda James.

As much as I like Amy ... I still wonder why they decided to split the point year 14? Maddie was part of the top of the triangle season 13 and was on the edge her rookie year while Amy was to the middle and back. I wonder if they split the point because Amy was 5 year ?? Maddie always seemed stronger than Amy... I think they kept splitting the point because it would look strange to go back to one point person after that ... hmmm
Amy being made point is so strange. She didn't stand out at all but somehow makes point...if Maddy vs Amy was a boxing match the ref would have stopped the fight in the first round. Amy not fit to shine Maddie's boots.

I hate that they share point now. I feel like they started doing it when Amy was point, because they thought she should be it based on seniority, but wasn't that great at it, so they shared it with Maddie. Now, they do it with Rachel and Gina, and imo, it should just be Gina, when you watch it go from Gina to Rachel, it's like watching someone dancing at a 10, then going to a 6 at best, not on looks, on power and projection. I feel like Rachel is only point, because she is so pretty. Being gorgeous alone, and seniority are not reasons to be point. Just my thoughts.

Going from Gina to Rachel is like going from a try-hard-to-look-like-you-are-enjoying-it to a relaxed performer.

I agree, Gina has lots of power and projection when she dances so it does seem get lower when Rachel takes the point. I understand why you feel like Rachel is the point because of pretty privilege because almost every time Judy and Kelly talk about her beauty instead of the actual things that matter when your on the field. The last time at least to me Rachel.W showed some umph was at show group for DCCMTT season 14.
Damn you’re really going in. Amy and Maddie were placed at the same time. They discussed that on an episode from season 14. Amy was great so don’t discredit her. She was a team leader 2 years and the pro bowler her final year. If you’re not a fan or think you can do better stop watching and/or go and try out 🤷🏻♂️
