    I wasn’t around when Muhammad split the moon in two, but I trust the historical sources that this occurred

      Hey, thanks for commenting. But you see, that's the rub. There is absolutely NO reputable evidence that Mohanned did any miracles. They are stupid, rediculous and meaningless myths. On the other hand, the evidences for the miracles of the Bible have meaning beyond the story and have actual evidence supporting them. In the case of the resurrection of Christ, it has written and legally permissable documentation. So, there is no comparison between the miracles of the Bible and the superstition of Islam.

      @@ApologeticsAdvocates the quality of evidence for the claims of Islam are the same for the claims of Christianity. Each rely on hearsay. The closest we can get to an eyewitness of Christ is Paul, and Paul did not see the risen Jesus, only a blinding light

      @@user-gv8xf9ul5j thanks for responding. However I would challenge you on this. The diversity of witness, the consistency of witness, the archeological evidence, anthropological evidence and written evidence is of an entirely different sort. The character of the witnesses as well as the product of the different faiths is entirely different. The Christian has 4000 years of Biblical witness. We have the geological evidence of the Flood. We have the documented prophecies fulfilled with absolute and vivid accuracy in some cases hundreds of years after the prophecy was made. Concerning the resurrection, we have 12 men who witnessed Christ’s resurrection, all but one of them died rather than recanting. The one who lived was, according to tradition, persecuted almost to death but did not recant. We have records by Christians and non Christians alike attesting at least to the historicity of the life death and resurrection of Jesus. Please, give me the archeological, geological anthropological and written documentation of any of this in Islam. As far as I can find all Islam does is piggy back off of the Christian faith, twist certain Scriptures to fit into their theology and intimidate people into believing - I take that back. Into saying they believe them. Do you understand the Islam has a tidal wave of people converting out of Islam into Christianity in every part of the world they can do so without threat of life? Conversely history is filled with the testimonies of people converting to the Christian faith in the face of threats of death if they do. BTW I do not count either Catholicism or Protestantism as Christian. I place them in the same historical camp as Islam. 1. They were not started by Christ but some other man 2. They began hundreds of years after Christ’s resurrection. 3. They piggy back off the Christian faith but are not genuinely Christian. 4. They persecute those who do not agree with them, especially true Christians. 5. They believe the only way that people will do right is by force.

      @@ApologeticsAdvocates we don’t have a diversity of witnesses, we have four gospel writers, who likely were not eyewitnesses themselves

      @@user-gv8xf9ul5j vain.
      1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
      1Co 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
      1Co 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
      1Co 15:7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
      1Co 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
      This tells us, and the historical/grammatical evidence confirms that there were over 500 witnesses. So, in order to refute this the unbeliever has only one option, to claim the Bible not credible.
