I feel so bad for Roosevelt because he's legit just trying to do his job but they don't tell him anything because of their outlaw code that prevents them from talking to cops. I love how he just slams that card on the table and throws his hands up like "if you remember something gimme a call" like he's been through this so many times with them already he already knows asking them for details is a waste of time cause they conveniently never know anything useful and he knows it's bullshit lol

I always thought when looking at Jax at this time and seasons before it seemed like different phases of ruthlessness/boss he turns into and how innocent he is decreases based off of the hair lol….best way to put it… the slick back look is the last phase it gives that boss look and man the next episode gonna pull some heart strings 🤦🏽♂️🤧
There's something they got wrong about Nero's son. He says something like his son's Spina Bifida is going to get worse and that he won't live a long life. That's just simply not true in 90% of people living with it these days. It's usually not a progressive condition but can come with complications - most of which are treatable and non-lethal with the right care. I speak from experience because I have a form of Spina Bifida myself and I just turned 37. I do appreciate Sons as a show because the boy who plays Nero's son actually has Spina Bifida in real life. It's good to see someone like yourself represented on tv, even if only briefly.
Hard to feel bad for Tig lets not forget he killed another innocent woman, that's two now..... The actor is frigging amazing though and he's a great character.

ive been watching SOA for a while now (better late than never) just on this episode tonight. loved every bit of it, the bits i could watch anyway lol, but i got a surprise watching this episode. the bit where Nero visits his son who he tells jax he has spina bifida. I was born with that too, i did hear a bit an inaccuracy though, when he says its caused by neglect, mother was using, as far as im aware no one really knows what causes it, other than a lack of folic acid being a possible cause. and nero also says its only gonna get worse, i guess i a way it does but its not the end of the world either, i dont do that walking thing these days but i get around good enough. its an incurable disability, but a manageable one, many of 'my people' live a decent life as long as we keep an eye on ourselves.

The reason he told the "new leader" to kill Jax and gave him an unloaded gun and then killed him was to show Jax & the bike club that the beef is done. Pope is a business man, has political connections, and doesn't want all this street warfare to come back and affect him. Pope handles things quite differently as you will see.

See, the issue with introducing a character played by Jimmy Smitts is that no matter the context I will always trust them implicitly. He's too dang charismatic an actor
The reason Clay didn't tell the whole truth about how he killed Piney is because he would be removed from the club and/or killed if the club knew the truth. And they need him there as part of the club to handle the business with the Irish and "the cartel" aka CIA.
19:21 Tig loses one daughter as a result of his unnecessary violence and here he is already at it again. Dawn may not have deserved such a painful, premature, tragic and tortured death, but Tig deserved to watch it and hurt. He causes so much pain and destruction. I still recall his callousness when those two Mexican workers were burned to death and he had blow job jokes.
Romeo told Jax not to let his patch go to his head then Jax ordered Romeo to get him protection. Jax isn't that important. They need Clay. Jax needs to learn to be polite to Romeo, who IS the boss, if he wishes to remain alive.
Hmm...short list of character intros that could rival Pope? Yeah, not too many, but off the top of my head: Snoop from The Wire, and Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire are up there. Hope you guys react to one of those shows at some point. The Wire in particular is right up there with Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul in terms of storytelling & character building for me.
