We took trail #205 to #206 to #349 to #68 to #203 to #35, then back to #205 to #210 - Hebgen Lake Ranger District, Gallatin National Forest.

How many miles can you get on average from your sx 250 on a full tank
Honestly, not too sure. My guess would be anywhere from 15 to 20mpg for a stock 250sx. But obviously very dependant on the terrain and riding style. For this trip, I packed a couple of Gatorade bottles full of gas.
Ended up upgrading to a 3 gal tank to get more range. The stock tank is only like 1.9 gal. I'm also running a lectron carb, so that helps make it slightly more efficient as well.
Great vid, thx. Would you say one could get a Tenere 700 and African twin thru reasonably? That first water crossing looked like the only sticky thing but maybe its the typical camera trick where all inclines don't show? Headed out in March. Thx

What was the overall difficulty....novice to intermediate? Anything very difficult/technical?
It's all pretty flowy singletrack. Nothing real technical. I would say about intermediate difficulty.

The trailhead is located at the end of Forest Service Road 681
I found a pdf showing those trails on the Forest Service site. Do you happen to have GPX file? Also, how long for expert riders to do those trails? Half day, Full day? Thanks!

We didn't camp at an established campground. This was all dispersed camping. Which, in my opinion, is much better.
If you're looking for some established campgrounds, there's a few in the area.
