Using A3 Drawing Board

This video is an illustration of how to use an A3 drawing boaed.
In this practical assessment, you have to draw the given model shown in figure (in video) in the scale of 1:2 ( On A4
Paper) using drawing instruments with appropriate drawing
border and title block.

Great video, but your annotation are false. The scale 1:2 tells you in this case that the drawing half of the original, but the annotations should show the original dimensions for the scale 1:1. In other words the Scales allow you to draw big or very small objects in a piece of paper to use them a reference. but the dimension of the real object does not change.

i use masking tape to stick the paper to a peice of wood and then a set square, had no idea till now you can buy somthing like this haha

How do you know where to draw the rectangle intersecting the circle? There are no measurements in the original drawing.

I was thinking about that too. the height of the parallel line that intersects the bottom of the circle is unknown and that will be wrong dimension

​@@thirumalaig9918 Yes, for example with the way you wrote the dimensions. With the construction line as well. That's a centre line. Shouldn't be continuous.
Otherwise the method you're using is great. I had the same board 30 years ago. My son will start to use it. We live apart. That's why I was looking for a video. Something which can describe to him, how to use it. This is the closest to my setup so the best I have found. Thanks for it! 👍
