Finding the Best Beer in Bruges (Brugge)

- Bruge is a delight! Especially if you love good beer, waffles, canals, windmills, and beer! We visited De Halve Maan brewery which built a dang beer pipeline in 2016 under the whole city! Also, we went to Staminee De Garre and drank the number 1 rated Belgian Tripel in the world! Also Bourgogne Des Flanders did not disappoint. Crack open a room temperature sour/strong/malty one and join us!
Bruges is, for the most part, incredible …. It’s just that initial dual carriageway 😎

Great video! My husband and I go every year to Bruges. If you ever go back, there are 3 bars you should definitely try. Le Trappiste, ‘t Bruges Beertje and Volkes Cafè. If you go to Volkes Cafè definitely talk with the owner, Tom. He is extremely knowledgeable about beer and super friendly. It’s our favorite place to go and get a Barista and an Adrian Brouwer, two of our favorite Belgium beers! 🇧🇪 🍻

Nice video, brings back the memories. I'm an American that worked for a Belgian company for over 10 years and was fortunate to be able to go the home office annually. They were based not too far from Brugge in a small town quite close to the town of Roselare, which has the Rodenbach brewery. And the Flemish/Dutch pronunciation for the beer style triple is just like we say in baseball, not tri-pell. Sante'

I live in bruges so if you ever go back to bruges, beware of the touristy shops. If you buy beer in a tourist beer shop it will be pricy but the one you went to is okay. Best beer in the world in my opinion is westvleteren 12. Super expensive but sooooo gooood!
How about Achelse Kluis and Westmalle? Are they worth a visit? Thank you
