- So today I'm going to be showcasing the NEW Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon Armor, Specifically The Taken King Suit for Hunter. This set has a Unique Glow Effect with shaders, allowing the full set to have an RGB Effect with the shader Photo Finish. Don't forget that the Dungeon Armor can be farmed! Finally, I can be a glow stick. Also man I need a big daddy armor set for this season, best helmet I’ve found so far is omega mechanos for titan and possibly the season of arrivals helmets for hunter. Combined with the descendant vex Crome.

Finally not the same one arm horn and the other smooth silky so tired to seeing that for every hunter arm piece.

Honestly these sets are the best we've gotten in a long while, and all 3 classes can be happy with it, it's a miracle they didn't make them eververse. The dungeon has got to be my favorite too, hopefully we can get some weapons that match and maybe a taken shader at some point.
Honestly, kudos to the encounter designers. Incorporating the underwater sections into the encounters in a way that felt right and not too annoying is an acomplishment in it of itself, considering the (deserved) stigma of water levels in videogames.
They had a 10/10 effort everything about the dungeon is amazing but we’ve wanted a taken shader since we got the armour in d1 I don’t think we’d be lucky enough to get one now 😭
It's still behind a paywall. At least there is a dungeon, but, honestly, this should be free content behind a multistage quest, like thousand voices or the taken ship
Bungie did a really good job with the new dungeon armor and seasonal ornaments. And i like the focus on more glowing stuff.

I watched the Hunter mask in collection and immediatly thought about a Spawn cosplay.
one of my favourite shaders for this armour is actually a green common shader called "Dusk Mine" the other 3 from the same set also look really good as well.
With the season's theme being Water Omnichronia looks the best for the time
Between this and the ornaments from this season and Season of the Haunted, we’re getting a nice little palette of chitinous/bone armor.
Finally. I can complete my taken armor

That hunter cloak might finally be the cloak that makes me take off blue rarity solstice 2018 cloak. It looks so good
It will be good to use with hive-style ornaments, even better with ones that interact with Photo Finish, like ACOLYTE'S AMBITION for Wormhusk Crown. They also pair well with the season pass APHOTIC LAMELLAR sets.
Definitely pairing this armor with the Spider/Insect armor (festival of the lost 2023) & Epialos Following set from Season of The Haunted.
I have the whole set, but the outfit I’m rocking is this head and chest, necro grip and the legs and bond from GOA. The shader is an old Dead Orbit one and it gives it the closes thing to a taken effect with the green hive magic from the bond and gloves. Looks so sick, especially since I play as a corrupted Guardian. Even all my cosmetics/flair items are hive/darkness themed. Best armor combo imo. Grinded 16 hrs straight

Bought this dungeon just for the armour.
I wish the armor for the other dungeons (except Grasp) were not foundry themed. We could've gotten a blood flowing set from Duality, or a new Nine outfit from Prophecy, and the list goes on. They did it right with this one, even though the weapons are funny to say the least
Some of the weapons are nice, like the harpoon glaive, though i feel like they're saving the hive themed weapons for exotics.

Just got the Titan helmet and DAMN is it cool! Yeah, it shaders very well but Erebos Glance not making it all black with just orange highlights is weird. There are no shaders that make it all black.
This is the one armor set that actually takes more from the secondary colours than the primary ones, so it might take some tinkering mixing and matching shaders that don't usually shade black to get it.
Yeah I got the whole set. And I did the dungeon five times. And got the navigator TWICE. the only thing I haven’t gotten is the smg. Which is crazy. But I also got a god roll cold comfort so I’m good with that tbh.

It's *lucent* hive armor. The whole thing is *glowing* because it's *LUCENT* .

The new trials shader is rgb as well. The armor stays gold but the undersuit+cloak is rgb
A really good shader to use on this armor is jungle viper .
These armor sets as probably the best hive sets we’ve gotten in a long time if not ever.
Not better than Crota set with ornaments, but definitely close.

@@riioas5543 Not to me, the design and glowing effects/floating stones on the Crota gear was amazing. This armor is great, but it doesn't have any effects besides the weird way it shades, which makes it hard to mix with other stuff.
Missing the laurel one. It's a brighter version of the sinking feeling. Since sinking gets really dark when in game and not in menu.
I got the entire hunt set in 2 runs
The warlock chest seems lacking but I may have an idea for a third Egyptian look using it
The warlock chest is perfect combined with the hive ornament for crown of tempest or the ornament for contraverse hold.
With certain shaders you look just like a lucent hive wizard.
The warlock chest is bad ass, definitely one of the best pieces of any of the sets… idk what you’re smoking but that shit is potent son.
Sucks that the robe looks bad on male warlocks but I’m glad they decided to go unique than just manufacturer armor

What’s the best encounter to farm the Mask for the hunter?
For the hunter, this is what the armor from Crota’s end, King’s fall, and Grasp of Avarice should’ve been. By that I mean mostly plated. Also I think the ornaments for Wormhusk crown and Citan’s ramparts are going to look good with this set
The gloves and the boots are exactly what i was missing for my hive acolyte transmog with the wormhusk ornament, now i can finally cosplay as lucent hive lol
There is also a new trials shader that has a red yellow green glow on gold plating
Although a fully gold armor looks questionable....
got a qustion I have boots and gauntlet for the ghost of the deep do I get the rest of the armor set on a higher difcoulty of ghost of the deep or could I get all the armor pieces on normal
I really like this armor but i kind of hate how some shaders work with it. My favorite shader is Ensilvered Snare and i use it in everything.... But this armor takes materials VERY differently from other armors and brightens up a lot of dark colors because of the glow effect.
I hope they can make some slight changes for how this armor interacts with specific shaders that just turn you into a giant crayon.

Regarding the glow, sure, but the KF and GoA set should work quite well.

Kings fall set, Grasp set, Season of haunted set, Newest wormhusk ornament all look good with the srmor

i farmed it for 4 hours straight and got like 18 pairs of legs and one rocket launcher 😢👍
