- BMP Tuning's second trip to North Carolina for Wookies in the Woods 2023 was a little different than the first. An R32 wasn't purchased beforehand this time, and unfortunately, our R32's prep wasn't entirely completed before we needed to leave.
Instead, we loaded up our MK8 GTI with a full tank of E85, an extra set of wheels, and the three of us hit the road! Fridays weather aside, we had a blast hanging out with our great friends and cruising down the Tail of the Dragon!

cinematography in the first 1.00 was awesome, that turmeric yellow golf against the grey/black wet backdrop of the road and the dark green/yellow of the treeline is masterful work. we have volksfest plus more here in the UK, plus more in Europe but i have to ship my Golf R over the pond one day and come visit all the American events because this looks so cool. How far from Idaho will i have to drive lol, my cousin lives there so i guess i will stay with him and prob have to drive for a week just to get anywhere.

Lol i tryed doing a wookies in the woods race on forza but it would not let me put wookie, so i did vr6 in the sticks, lol had to outsmart them. V dub 4 life!
That GTI is sick as hell man. I just recently got a 2017 Lapiz Blue R a couple months ago with low miles and I’m getting a lot of ideas off of your build that are super inspiring! Hats off!

I believe that as long as you are respectful they would happily welcome you, however, the event is FOR R and R32 owners - so know that they will take priority and youll be fine!
Oh yeah I don't wanna take anything away from what the event is all about I'm just a huge fan of the whole thing but my audi is my daily
