I pretty much agree everything you said. Buy once cry once. You will save a lot of money if build a PC instead of Mac, but Mac does have some extra options. If you must blow the budget let it be for the preamp and microphone. Everything else you can cut some corners on but even then do not go bottom of the barrel. That RME is indeed something special. I won't use anything else.
2nd hand 400$ mac mini m1 blow every PC below 1500 dollar, tho you need to buy internal SSD mvme with adapter for full speed external storage indeed Also for best results for cheap interface : Audient, they got console preamps in all their interface and they got really cheap ones Mic : AT2020, LCT240, Air140, NT1, Studio budget B1, copycat Branded Sm7b, or Sm58 Headphones : 40 dollars studio headphones audio technica MICSTAND !!! K&M 50$ Daw : Garage band for free since you have a mac Speakers : Presonus Eris
I'm not so sure about the Mac mini part because the gulf between Macs and Pcs in this era is nill when it comes to performance not to mention Apple is a closed system so whatever you get is all you get out that machine and Apple is notorious for planned obsolescence. Where they do shine is some manufacturers in the music industry make apple only products. Many high-end studios use PCs these days. Audient from what I hear makes so decent products, although I do not have first hand experience with them. I would personally would not trust my mix on $40 headphones nor the presonus Eris either. Like most things you do get what you pay for, but to each his own as every man has to ride his own horse.
for pro tools artist you are limited on tracks for 32 tracks and studio one for artist i dont think so i always had stems with between 50-300 tracks so i dont think you are limited in tracks for studio one
Yow wavv.. I'm on a budget but I got all the gears a wile now....the problem I'm having getting the beat to sit with the vocals..an after recording I gotta be putting 3 and 4 compressor to bring up the audio..... I can't fine a video on yt? That's properly explain it all🤯
You don't need gear you need to learn the basic of mixing, to turn up the vocals you don't use a compressor, you use a compressor to reduce/ass the dynamics, or add color.
Glad you said”Studio One 6” It’s very underrated
Bruh that WA 800 shot killed me 😂 love the energy bro!

Back the volume of the beat, get multritracks or work with a beatmaker
trun the beat down to - 10db and gor from their be aware of how loud the snare is in the beat and sit your vocals there
