- After doing an extensive build on a brand new, Kawasaki KX112, I started it for the very first time. I had never started this motorcycle before today. I brought it home and tore it apart, then put on a new Pro Circuit Works pipe, R-304 silencer, Boyesen RAD valve, VHM cylinder head with high compression SX insert, Uni air filter and I updated the jetting slightly for my elevation and typical temperatures. So with all of that I had no idea how it would run. The VHM head with altered dome and compression eliminates the stock cylinder head gasket and uses o-rings instead. So with a completely empty carb, new intake tract, new cylinder head, new exhaust, I did not expect it to start on the second kick. Then first kick after that. Idles perfectly as well. Total success, and it runs super clean and crisp. Perfect build, and no doubt this bike will rip!

Were did you get the exhaust system and what was the price?
Your that guys with too much time and money haha 😄 can't wait for the riding video thanks buddy for the vidsb
That bike sounds amazing
nice bike im getting a brand new 2024 kx112 in april or may
Sounds mean. I have the same bike but stock. Looking to do this eventually
Make sure to check and clean your power valves often if running castor 927. Castor based oils aren't formulated for power valves and will tend to gum them up quicker. No problem if you keep them serviced. Nice bike man
I have run 927 for 20 years and never any issues with power valves. I service power valves at normal intervals and I have never seen any problems with any build up or other gumming type issues. Anyway, that is just my experience. Thank you.
They should make 125 big bore kits for it
124
Or just buy a 125
@@raffertyhouston1859 I already have one buddy , mind your business next time beta.
@@eddies2kturboyour not the sharpest knife in the shed lol
That’d be nice. Smaller frame size, more motor. Better for shorter, smaller riders/racers.
2smoke🔥
Sounds amazing! Did you have to adjust the jetting on your carb? I just got a Shorty exhaust and the pro circuit works pipe and was curious if I’ll also have to change the jetting.
I made normal adjustments for my riding conditions and location based on the owners manual recommendations. Runs very clean all the way through.
Whats up bro. I'm working on putting Fat bars on my own Kx112 but I'm having trouble with the correct bolt sizes. How did you mount your bars? Did you have to fabricate your own bolts? What bar setup did you use?
Your stock bars are 7/8, fat bars are 1 1/8,you need to purchase the adapters for 7/8 to 1 1/8 fat bars. The adapters will bolt on where the old bars bolted on to,once the adapters are bolted on now you mount the new fat bars to the adapters and secure them with the caps. There are CZcams videos to show you how.
Watch all your videos leading up to this and you never followed up on how you liked the performance and feel on the track with your KX. Any regrets or maybe thoughts on what you might do different? I just picked up a 23 and I’m looking to do some mods. Thanks
No regrets on anything. Runs super crisp and clean. Great pickup off the bottom, smooth power and revs out nicely. I can't think of anything I would change.
Sounds glorious :) have u ridden it at all yet ?
Yes! It's a blast!
perfect bike, gots the perfect bell and whistles besides the needs a crossbar type of handlebars IMO lol
Man I want a two stroke but I haven’t ridin a bike before so I’m gonna go with a ttr230 lol
Get a yz250f 4 stroke. You can tune it from your phone!! My buddy had one and loved it
@@guitarzan214 that’s like 13,000 out the door why
Did you get the ignition cover from Motorsport?
No, Revzilla
Can you link me we’re you got the whole exhaust system? Tank you
Revzilla.com
Where do I get the VHM and the intake and what should I do with the carburetor?
Langston Motorsports for the head. I purchased the Boyesen RAD Valve from Revzilla. As for carb, I jetted mine to my riding area and conditions according to the owners manual, and it runs nice and clean. For me that meant a leaner main and a 1/4 turn in on the pilot.
They had to make it a 112 cuz of the heavier unsprung 16 19 wheels. That would really rip if 14 17 wheels
For a kid maybe.
Hp2 two stroke oil
What do you think of that thing for somebody who is 6 feet and about 170? Way too small? All I want to do is trail ride and have fun- no more and no less. I bet it's super easy to trailer as well. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. You look like you're on the taller side and about my age.
Should be fine as long as you put some heavier springs on it, and gear it up a bit.
@@GOATbro_Australia Yeah... Great stuff! I could gear it up by adding a sprocket with an extra tooth right? Thanks for the video and your feedback.
i would get a 125, the engine a little more powerful and it’s full size
I’m 5’10 190 and this Bike Rips.
did you have to do anything to carb ?
I leaned out the main and pilot a little. Jetted to my local conditions.
Do you have yoy suspension stiffened
Yes, I stiffened both ends.
does the VHM cylinder head really do anything
Improves cooling and increases compression slightly for a bit more low and mid power.
@@GOATbro_Australia alright would you say its worth the buy
How much was it out the door
5k
5k that's a steal I bought my 19kx100 new from familypowersports out the door was right around 7k I've bought many bikes from them 2012 z1000 back in 2012 with 6 miles when buying new bikes always add about 1k- 1.2k to the sticker price for tittle transfer fees exc.
