    I invested in the Ridgid boxes as well. The new clear tops have made it to Southern California. As many have said I wish Ridgid would step it up and offer more boxes and bags like Pack Out. Thanks for the video

    Good review. I keep my Rigid rolling tool case for cordless power tool set up, batteries, tools, charger , a drill set , and rapid load bits ONLY. I want to be able to carry the sections easily. That's my tip. I found Rigid brand easier to stack and unstack. I tried Milwaukee and found them cumbersome. ..

    Is there still no where to buy replacement bins separately??? I want to buy 20 large bins and 40 small bins and make a rack in the garage and then can just pack up one or two cases to carry just what I need for that job!

    I liking these boxes for the price. Thinking about building a set. I was looking at the Milwaukee packout, but tethering the boxes together looks difficult because you have to slide the box horizontally to get it to lock in. Can't imagine that being convenient on the large size boxes packed with tools.

    • @MyFortressConstruction
      @MyFortressConstruction  Před 4 lety

      If I were to compare the Milwaukee Packout vs the Ridgid, I would say the Milwaukee was easier to snap in place and undo. The Milwaukee boxes get HEAVY when they are "packed out" though, because they are so large.

    It's crazy they they didn't have this sooner
    Ridgid and Milwaukee please come out with a drawer system lol. Ridgid makes a strong and affordable system. If they come out with more stuff they would be more on level as the other 2 options Milwaukee and DeWalt. Price and more options and everybody would want a Ridgid system.

    • @MyFortressConstruction
      @MyFortressConstruction  Před 5 lety +3

      I agree, Ridgid is the best option out there right now (and a good compromise for hardcore DeWalt/Milwaukee fanboys who couldn't handle sticking red in yellow boxes or vice versa), but having more options would take them over the top.
      Ridgid! Make a good quality drawer box!!! Please!

    Just purchased this system I haven't transferred my stuff yet.I would like more modular solutions or Diy mods within the system. But on the whole I'm happy with the construction. l have the Milwaukee pack out at work which is more modular. but it also has it's limitations, the biggest being the price.

    So, I have been buying the Milwaukee organizers because I didn’t know these existed. In fact, I just bought two more yesterday and three Milwaukee 1/2 thickness pack out organizers and now I have to return them, thanks. The Milwaukee pack out organizers are crazy expensive. My local HD is small, and doesn’t carry these, I will need to order online. Would be nice if they made these in a 1/2 thickness model for small jobs. Also, I’m putting together rolling cart for my organizers drawers that slide out like your set up, only mine pulls out from the front vice the side (length) like yours. Thanks for the info.

    • @MyFortressConstruction
      @MyFortressConstruction  Před 5 lety

      Glad to be of help, I think? I know what you mean about the Milwaukee organizers, I just couldn't believe the price. I mean they're nice, but not for $45 a pop. Of course these are $30 a piece, so can't go too crazy here either, but for the ability to put it on my rolling cart, it's worth it. Hopefully they'll drop the price down a bit or do a two for $$ off deal at some point. Keep your eyes out on Black Friday because they just put these out at my HD. Thanks for your comment!

      @MyFortressConstruction  Před 5 lety +1

      @@stanthomas9890 Yes, I saw the small organizers are $20 right now, not the packout ones I was talking about. Which if you don't need them for a modular system, then they are pretty good, just not as large as the Ridgid and you can't put them with the packout.
