Mark Moser is a very eccentric man. He knows what's going on all of the time.
He is on a Denver sports talk radio show in the mornings and the other guys on the show asked him to try and squeeze it into his broadcast. They had a few others but I forget what they were. It was a challenge and he made it work, hysterically I might add. 😂

Makar is going to continue developing into one of the best offensive defensemen in the NHL.
Id say he's already a top 5 in the NHL today, but I think he can be the quite literal GOAT.

For any hockey analysts out there... are Hughes and Makar the same type of player?
Definitely not. Although they are both offensive, makar is more of a rush player that uses mohawks and other forms of skating to his advantage. Hughes is a little more lateral and less physical. He also is more important for the powerplay than Makar soley because the Canucks don't have major superstars (except Peterson). I think Makar has the slight edge because he is a more complete skater and player and is just so smooth with his skating.
He makes other NHL players look like absolute clowns.. what a talent

Funny because i watched the team Canada juniors tryouts and thought Makar was top 1/2/3 but never even made the team.Good thing Canada won because to leave such a talent off the roster is atrocious scouting.

Lol he took the puck wide and passed it too the slot in the first clip... peewees do that. This kid is nasty but he's a lot like Mike Green. High risk High Reward. This video could easily show his top 5 turnovers. It took the caps years to finally realize that greens offensive talent was diminished by his ridiculous turnovers (which makar does have a lot of early in his young career). He even hits and take hits like Green did. Other than that he should help the Avs to a cup. ***also everything I just said is true and before you Avs fans get all defensive; I'm not dogging this guy. You don't have to play in the NHL to know how the game works. Every NHL analyst would agree with this constructive criticism (his decision making and zone exiting is terrible at times).

You are completely clueless if you think that Makar is "high risk". He is absolutely terrific in his own end. Not only can he shut down opposing team's top lines with his defensive positioning, quick stick and stellar skating, but he's also very physical and lays people out with big checks. You obviously haven't watched Makar at all. And no, the plays from these highlights are not high risk either. Makar takes it into the zone when he knows he has coverage. Don't confuse Makar's offensive perception to a lack of defensive awareness.
