I did have the same problem with my car when i lowerd it. I did get some centre plates so it moves the wheels back. Love the build!! Greets from the netherlands.
I have been following your journey with this awesome beetle. Give me ideas about all of my beetles. I would leave out the parking sensors if you don't need them. I hate extra holes in bumpers.
Yeah ,its just the shear size of the wheels and the original fenders are more wrapped around the wheel, where as the body kit has wider wheel arch to accommodate the wheel size ,Definitely reached the limit of what wheel size the car can handle .
@@adrianwilliams07 on another note I'm sure you buy axle relocator plates, I think the mark 4 Golf platform had a similar issue, this and caddy's. There honestly isn't much info on line about major mods with 5c beetles. I've been looking around for ages now and it seems to the biggest scene is in Japan.
Yeah .. Steve I did a caddy a few years back and I made the plates for the leaf springs … because it’s a beam axle… I have to go irs then I can have adjustment With toe . .. I’m pretty sure the golf mk6 or the Jetta will fit .. we will soon find out in the next video 😉
Just check on the exhaust legality… I think they have to extend past the back seats. Just did a quick Google and the only vehicles aloud any other place are buses… not 100% sure about WA laws. You might have to have fake one Ade

Strange one about the rear wheel alignment, I've seen plenty of lowered beetles that don't seem to be like this?
