    Great comparison! In my opinion, all of the lights in your review are excellent. I really like the M21C, and I thought about getting one many times in the past few months, however, the UI and the tail switch kept me from ordering one. It also looks front heavy and I kept thinking that the balance would be off. If it would have the UI of the M3 and a side switch, I would have gotten one for sure, and it would have been the same color body as the one you reviewed. It's beautiful with the SS bezel. And 6 minutes on turbo is more than enough time. I have the C8+ with an SST40 5000K 4 mode and it has the same problem with no spill on low and medium, but it is outstanding on high and turbo.
    I was hoping someone would review the M21C-U. The UI seems much better but it's only available with an XHP70.2 and that led is going to suck the voltage out of a 21700 really quickly. I'd much rather see an XHP50 in it. I'll have to ask Simon if he could put one in it and how much it would cost to do it. But I'm waiting to see if he updates the M3 with a new UI and a charging port. I heard a rumour that he was working on one. I love my M3 😊 Low (185hrs runtime) and medium (10.5hrs runtime) are all I need 95% of the time. Those are the runtimes that I personally measured using a Shockli 5500mAh 26650 20/30A battery. The actual measured capacity was 6035mAh. I have another Shockli battery that measured in at 6143mAh capacity, but I use that one in my FT03 with an XHP50. I don't think that I used that battery when I did the runtime tests on the M3, I'll have to check. Sorry for the l o n g comment 😊 I kinda got off topic 😁

      No its okay , your thoughts are spot on. Good thing you did not hesitate to aske me these things.
      First, i agree and i am a living proof that the m21c is heavy for its size in fact its like a small hammer. You know the feeling when you hold a hammer that yoh need to hold it in the proper distance from the head to maintain a good grip and balance. 😅 but on the otherhand the heat dissipation is excellent.
      Second, i have the m21C-U coming so i will surely review that too.
      Third, i am planning to tell simon to make me a convoy m21c with an osram led on it and he said it is possible he has some 8A driver on production right now. And yeah i believe the xhp50 will fit well on the m21C. The outcome will be impressive on heat handling just like the sp33 v2 1st version - 2500 lumens
      The m3 is on a different level, truly a reliable light.

      Yeah some people really do not prefer those thin beam. They are not that useful on low modes. Thanks bro!

    Does this have the Anduril UI?

    • @LumenVaultReviews
      @LumenVaultReviews  Před 3 lety

      No anduril UI version of this. But there is a newer version with side switch called M21C-U and its has ramping UI. The only thing is, its using an XHP70.2 led not the sst40.
      Still this is a good buy. The latest version uses an osram LED which possibly throws a lot longer than this.
