As a Chef for Private jets I work in Miami 5 months out of the year. Key West was my go to on my days off. I miss driving my Convertible Camaro SS on route 1. Stopping for a drink at marker 88, then hitting the road again. The drive for me anyway is therapeutic. Then it was over to Ricky's for live music and drinks. Great video.
Thanks for posting your trip! I did this drive last year, and it was one of the best parts of my vacation. So many fun and interesting stops to make through the Keys! I can't wait to go again.

that bridge you went across at around the 3 hour mark, unless I missed it, but really didnt look like that there was nowhere to turn around if you had to meaning one you start to cross you have to drive the whole way to the other end even before you could turn around.lol

I did this drive with my ex-girlfriend from Miami beach to the keys in 2008 I think.. tbh I was sleeping most of the time except when we crossed those many bridges that sometimes get splashes of water from the ocean and also some areas seem really close to the water as well. It was epic tho! lol

In most of the travel forum's that I have read, people advise against using US-1. They instead recommend using the turnpike. I'm just wondering why you decided to use US-1 instead? I'm only asking because I will be renting a car and driving from Miami to Key West this June. Thanks, and nice video.
+Brian Pilon I think its a combination from some different reasons, we had time and there was no road charge so we took the US1. Thanks for watching the video

Well two points, first copyrigt reasons we had music running and second we were talking most of the time
I got it. I love long videos with the only driving sounds. Without music and talk. That's relaxing me
Put it on 2x speed much more real, you could have at least turned on the radio!

to be honest I dont remember, but I think it was something about the checking time of the hotel or could even be that we did not knew better
