Thanks for the video! Would you recommend to use the pool to "undo" an audio bounce I've made? I made multiple vocal takes using lanes and created a composite version. I then bounced these into one track. It's been a few days now and I want to start this process over again but I cannot figure out how to get back to viewing all my lanes with the original vocal takes to start the comp over again. Hope that makes sense. Thanks ahead of time...
I opened a file that was used for a track many years ago. I use Elements 6, and today i JUST copied some tracks from the original file to another new file i created. I then - deleted the copied files in the new .cpr-file, and then choose "remove unused media", and then also empty trash (yes, unfortunately as well) and suddenly most audio files, not all i copied (?!), were deleted from the original folder of the other older file! Unbelievable! These audio files were not "unused files"! Now these files are deleted totally from the PC, and i wonder what happened. I used Cubase so much in the past, but now i am disappointed and a big question mark!? I think i did a backup on some stick or something back then, and this is now the only hope to restore now. I wanted to do a re-mix and remaster the material. :/
HOW DO YOU DRAG THE FILES THEY DONT DRAG . the problem i'm facing is all my deleted retake files go to media player as audio files and slow down cubase and it keeps me from finishing songs and if i delete the audio files i lose all the audio for the song i created and when i click play it does'nt play there is'nt a way to drag the files into a folder to restore the audio files for the guitar tracks quote
Have you stopped doing tutorial videos, now? I found that one useful even though I'm a Pro user.. there are many occasions when I still need to learn about something quite 'elementary', so your channel would be useful!!
