I used to struggle with this too. Something that helped me is that God’s forgiveness trumps all. Holding yourself in unforgiveness is holding yourself in condemnation, which usually comes from the enemy. Give yourself grace. It’s ok to lament over your sins, but you shouldn’t stay there. Understanding that you sinned and did wrong means that you can grow and be better. Start at this moment to be closer to God. To walk in righteousness. Not too necessarily “atone” for your sins. (Bc it’s the Blood of Jesus that makes atonement) But to mature in Christ. We have all sinned and fallen short to the glory of God. But you are a new creature in Christ Jesus. Remember, the God of the universe has forgiven you and knows your heart better than you do. Use that as permission to forgive yourself and move forward. God wants all of us to advance and move forward in him. But it’ll be hard if we’re stuck in the past. Trust in God. You can do it!

I've been trying to open their hearts and minds but they're not taking it as seriously as they should be. It has cause me much grief and stress throughout my coming to Christ last year.
I am also in progress in healing. I masturbated consecutively while knowing God won't be pleased and it came to a point that the Holy Spirit convicted me deeply and I was filled with anxiety and fear. It felt like it left me thus I dreaded and cried out to the Lord. I confessed all my sins, snot dripping, face wet from tears, and wanted to be right with Lord Jesus and let the Lord change me as he is the only one that can. I let God work in me and trusted in HIM. I gave HIM EVERYTHING to let him change me and I'm now willing and ready. After that I said that I will wait for God's grace to fill me up again because all I was feeling was guilt and emptiness. I was deaf because of continuous sinning. But it was then after I said I will be patient with the Lord and he will be the one to decided when... IT WAS THEN A SURGE OF ENERGY WAS SENT THROUGH MY BODY. It was like GOD gave me back the Holy Spirit. I was so happy and thanked God graciously again and again. Now, im attending youth camp for fellowship so that I can reconnect with Lord Jesus Christ. And now i will follow the will of the Lord and obey them. I will pray for you that you can overcome this adversity. Just trust in Jesus bro. And keep following him. All good will follow if you follow him. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ 🙏
Try reading your Bible daily, it helps take away the urges. I have that problem to. I read the Bible as soon as I awake and before I go to sleep. It really helps you fight the addiction! Stay strong and take it one day at a time. Don't be hard on yourself when you give in. Also ask God for the holy Spirit, the helper

If you feel you shouldn't, I wouldn't. Paul said if someone feels moved to practice something you shouldn't try to deter them if they really believe it brings them closer to God. I don't feel tempted towards anything when watching certain animes but there are some I have had to discontinue watching because I realized they had theological themes that aren't in accordance with scripture and can mislead me.

We are all at different spiritual maturities in our walk with the Lord, so our convictions based on our situation will be different. The important thing is to, through prayer and seeking God's will for you specifically, to decide whether or not watching this is good for you.
