New HURACAN TECNICA FIRST DRIVE! The LAST Lamborghini V10 Supercar

- This is the new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica and everything you want to know about it! Mixing the dynamics of the STO with the usability of the EVO RWD, does it make the perfect sweet spot for the V10 raging bull? Let's have a full look around all the changes and head out for a first drive.
The Huracan has been a hugely successful model for Lamborghini, and the STO has certainly grabbed quite a few headlines in recent times. Now though, the latest addition to the line-up is the redesign Tecnica, housing the same 640hp 5.2l NA V10, a completely new look especially to the front, but also carrying forward some more of the elements of the 'regular' EVO RWD model that make it more usable and less compromised.
The front end features design elements seen on the likes of the Sian hybrid few-off car, but rather than the STO's cofango it reverts to a regular bonnet with storage space beneath - albeit available in carbon fibre if preferred. Equally, the engine cover can be in carbon, with a fixed wing found on the back, above the distinct hexagonal tailpipes offering up a superb V10 soundtrack.
After a walkaround of the exterior, we're out onto some glorious roads near to Olbia on Sardinia, the perfect environment to make the most of it. Our end destination is the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo, an ideal spot in the harbour to take a look into some of the Ad Personam personalisation specifications that are available for the new Huracan Tecnica.

I’m usually a fan of the “hardcore track” versions of cars like this. But this is so well done I feel like I’d take it over an STO.

I do think this looks far superior to the STO version. Subtle upgrade over a standard Huracan, without looking like a Halfords forecourt.
I don't mind if Lambos go over the top or modest. But this half-assed way looks so bad, not to mention the front end.
@@Kronos0999 I do like this particular look on the Tecnica, maybe it’s the 2 tone paint on the STO’s that i just do not get on with.
The wing on the Tecnica is terrible feels like they just slapped it on and that looks goor lol

Everytime Lamborghini releases a new car there is usually a video that goes along with it. The video for the Technica was one of my favorite videos from Lamborghini to date.
Best Huracan in my opinion it looks very beautiful and I love how they changed the exhaust note to produce less of those childish crackles. Also loves the excellent sized wing I always though Lambo needs a wing to pop. I had a 2015 huracan which looks like a different lambo compared to this one.

What a car also I appreciate that you truly drive your cars. 4000 miles on the STO ? Did I hear correctly? I would love to own a Lambo but I am also need my luxury and go on long roadtrips. Can you drive a Lambo for 6 hours feeling relaxed when you get out?

Do the track telemetry cameras act as dash cams as well? Curious to know if you use dash cams with the value of your cars. Of course you film quite a bit while driving but outside that on long drives do you use dash cams for insurance and general peace of mind?
Love the look of it and how different it looks from the regular Huracan. The rear third is completely different, yet pure Huracan in its essence.
Insane. I love all of the Huracans and sad that this is the last v10 Huracan model. The v10 sound is just nuts. I love it so much.

There is a shortcut to the volume control via gesture control by placing your 2 fingers (i.e. pointing and middle fingers) on the screen and dragging up to raise the volume and dragging down to lower the volume.

Seen a Lamborghini today in Warwick, unfortunately I didn't know what model it was for sure, might have been a Huracan Performante. However, the V10 sounded great!!

Ever thought about having the geometry of the STO looked at Tim? Took my Cayman GTS to Centre of Gravity near Birmingham as the steering was off, they did a cracking job, pretty much tailor it to how you want the car to feel and drive. It would be the first thing I'd do if I were to get another car with a bit of performance.
Now that lamborghini has released this and the final aventadore does this mean that the 2 models will be going to be replaced around about the same time? Or is there a hardcore version of this to come yet do you think?
Yes in the next two years I believe will be hybrid models
It's a bit sad hearing that it's going to be the last v10 supercar Lamborghini makes cause it's one of the best sounding and best performance car most people enjoys(if they have the money)
The Huracan successor will continue to use the V10 just with hybrid

@@Nickgyw6 he never said that. It is confirmed the hybrid powertrain and heavily heavily expected to continue to use the NA v10

favorite car I've ever driven on any longer distance drive on winding roads. Comfortable enough, plenty of fun with that v10 I love that v10 best configuration for me is an Evo Spyder. I'll miss this model series .

@@tracer073 They certainly could easily release a topless version but I think they are leaving that for the EVO. I like the design of this one in the video and like you, realize a spyder version is the only way to make it perfect. Hexagon exhaust tips lol. Love it.

Having a cage in that car just seems silly. It's strange that's even an option. Interesting to see how it slots in with the other cars. I like the front end look a lot. I'm still partial to the ridiculous look of the STO tho, I think that will always be the end-all-be-all Huracan to get.

Tim there is always one question i have with lamborghini and maby you can awnser that. Why is the engine always offset to the driver side instand dead center?. And as always great video and love you make them longer
The gearbox is the reason, they needed to make space for it.
@@karstenpedersen7749 oke but i think it a problem since the Gallardo and not even fix it in the new cars. I know it just a tiny thing and maby it suits the lambo
