- Hello, everyone! Today, let's talk about energy - Did you know there are two energy types? what takes it away which is called Energy Takers, and what gives it back, Energy givers.
First up, the energy takers. These are things that drain you physically and emotionally. You would often feel quite tired and lose your motivation.
The first one is -
1. Past and Future Focus
Avoid dwelling on negative experiences or worrying about the future. The best way to move forward is to concentrate on the present. Taking one day at a time.
2. Inconsistent Sleep
Ensure a regular sleep schedule to maintain energy levels throughout the day.
3. Mess and Clutter
A tidy space reduces stress and promotes productivity.
4. Sedentary Time
Too much sitting leads to fatigue, weight gain, and muscle loss.
5. Social Media
Social media can always make you feel like comparing your live to others online and you may end up feeling inadequate and insecure.
6. Screen Time
Screentime and social media are quite similar, just it’s always important to monitor your screentime as excessive use can lead to eye strain, sleep problems, and concentration issues.
Now, let's shift to the energy givers - things that boost your energy and well-being.
Music, Nature and Time outdoors reduce stress and improve mood, along with Sunlight that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and boosts energy.
Positivity is also a very important energy giver
When you surround yourself with positive people, you automatically start wanting better for yourself and you start working towards it. Motivated people drive others to work their way ahead.
We definitely can not forget Hydration. It improves mood, cognitive function, and physical performance.
MOVEMENT, MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION are also energy givers as regular exercise is key for overall health and energy. Reduces stress and enhances focus and energy.
