I have noticed that there are LOt less games on offer on PS5, than on PS4 at Playstation Store. This is why I'm happy I kept PS4Pro. Heck, given the limited hard drive space on PS5, with most modern games being like 100GB in size, I keep playing most PS4 era games on the Pro. It's also better BluRay player than PS5. For some reason, PS5Slim has terrible picture quality when watching BluRay movies. Even Series X makes better Bluray player.

Just like what you said on your video during the 9th minutes, There is no incensif for casual gamers to buy a PS5 when 90%of PS5 games also have a PS4 version . This alsoo applys to hardacore gamers to some extend. Casuals doesn't care about improved game performance as much as hardcore gamers.

The PS4 to PS5 transition was one of the strangest. Same as Xbox One to Series. We had the pandemic the threw everything off kilter. Game development slowed because of that. Add to the general development time for games is getting longer.
I hope both Sony and Microsoft extend the life of the current console generation. Gaming needs the hardware pause.
I've had a PS5 since launch but didn't touch it till last year due to personal reasons. It is connected to my main TV now but my PS4 is still set up on another TV.

That's a good point that generations should slow down yet Xbox is still gonna try and release a new one in 2026 but that's still a rumour as of now. There are some really good and thoughtful comments among my recent videos and that legit does make me happy to see.
But whether we like it or not we can't really stop progress in the form of console generations in this case

@@jgamindood5769The rumours I've heard over the next Xbox is sounding very much like an "Pro" instead of the next generation.
I see an upgraded model is just a new model to grab additional sales. Either people who held off or those collectors who need every model.
However, I will say that Microsoft would be best placed to release any new hardware either update or next generation thanks to the smart delivery.

If you have a PS4 and an older TV you can just keep playing on PS4 instead of PS5. I bought a PS5 back in December. I could finally buy one in my stores and I never bought a PS4. My PC is getting old for gaming but still works fine. It was cheaper to buy a PS5. It's so easy to make games for PS4 and PS5 compared to making them for PS3 and PS4. The only way to get it to change would be stop making games for PS4. But then that might lose a lot of money for Sony.

I also play on the ps4 (no ps5) and the reasons are these :
Games are still made for it.
Many games are cross play .
Since ps5 is compatible with ps4 games, devs are not making that many new games(or at least nothing groundbreaking) and are focusing more on updating old ones so that they can be played on ps4 and ps5 due to high multiplayer demand .
With just those 3 above, I dont feel I need a ps5 right now(unless is stupidly cheap) . The urge was so low for me that l actually , last year preferred to update my gamecube with 1080p cables and adapters and continue to buy more exclusive gamecube games (as I stopped years ago) .
I mainly use the ps4 for Vermintide 2, world of tanks and Friday the 13 (although that last one will be shut down soon ..)
It looks like the ps4 is to Sony, what the gtx1080ti is to nvidia. It just refuses to step down lol .
When the switch2 comes out, if ps5 drops miraculously to 320-350, its another story .
