How HOT is ARIZONA Really Baking Cookies in a 160° Car!

In this video I'll be testing out just how hot it gets in Arizona during the summer by doing an experiment - baking cookies inside my car! I wanted to see if the scorching heat could actually bake cookies.
I tried this experiment on a day when it was about 120°F outside. Using a car temperature calculator, I estimated the interior of my car would reach around 160°F after sitting in the sun for a few hours. So I put some pre-made cookie dough on a baking sheet and left it in my parked car for 5 hours.
When I came back, the cookies were actually baked! The edges were a little crispy from the intense dry heat. It just goes to show how incredibly hot Arizona gets in the summer. The ambient air temperature was hot enough to bake inside a car like an oven. Arizona's low humidity allows things to heat up quickly.
So if you're wondering how hot Arizona really gets and whether you could survive here in the summer, this experiment should tell you all you need to know.
