- As an international relations enthusiast, I was always surprised every time data related to India-China trade releases came. For me, China is a much bigger threat and competitor for India in comparison to any other country in the world, not just because China shares a boundary with India but also because China acts as a direct alternative to India for investors and other major economies.
Even after such direct competition with India, we are not able to balance our trade relations with China. We have consistently increased the overall trade deficit with China.
In this video, we have thoroughly covered what's the exact reason behind this compulsion of India, what are those sectors that contribute most to this deficit, and the possible ways through which we can reduce this deficit in the upcoming years.

Gupta, China is not stealing anything. China provides critical machinery for 😊industry, precursor chemicals for pharmaceuticals, and numerous other products that allow your economy to function. Indians need to be more industrious and export products that solvent countries like China can buy.
I don't know how these type of people are teaching upsc aspirants. This kid teacher probably don't know about the VALUE ADDITION of item we import from china. Obviously china is the source and gets more profit but we also get the profit though value addition and selling it to local and even foreign Markets.

India is not china every country has different expertise instead we should focus on strengthening the sectors which are already doing good in market like service sector, pharmacuteical, etc rather than competing with china. also we should focus maximum jobs creation sectors like mining, agriculture, energy sector, basic manufacturing, and many more

In my opinion as a nation we can replace the imports of non essential goods such as Plastic Toys with the toys made in Indian market or at least reduce the numbers
With additional RnD we can Reverse engineer materials made by Chinese companies and in the end deliver similar products of plastics toys in the market.
