How the Thar became so populated
within seven years of its first receiving more more precipitation than necessity, is matter of our
curiosity. The present state of affairs
of Rajastan has become the headache of the people of rest of
India where people are dying due to
      nonstop heatwave which is a
precursor of the death of entire population of the subcontinent.
The people of Rajastan will not be spared. We have no enmity with marwari or other Rajasthanis ---
above all we are Indians .Live and let
      live .

Hii gentleman, I am from jodhpur rajasthan, have u ever been visit the west rajasthan in peak summer time of may and June month?
Probably no , so u don't know what kind of difficulties we have to face especially in the remote areas of village .
We always worship for having a rain in Monson , we also plant neem sapling to make thar green and be habituated for not only humans also for the animals bcoz we are vegetarian.
U don't know that how many animals have been dieing every year in summer time due to thirst , but we build ponds to store rain water for that sothat they survive .
Rainwater and Indira gandhi canal still not effectively successful in thar desert ,man..
I specially invite you for visiting the thar people life in peak summer time then u will realise the importance of having greenery and water ..
For u it's very easy to make a video on such a crucial and nonsense topic of limiting the greenery in thar desert it's too much disguising on u ,
Instead , u have to encourage the people to make plantation more in thar desert to make it dedesertification , just like China is doing in it's own region GOBI desert ,we have to take inspiration from there .
If there's the monson siftment in our country, then we all our Indians are the responsible for this climate change not the little greenery of thar desert , illiterate dumb men 🤫🤫🤫🤫
If u have the power of influencing the large number of people on the basis of such an stupid report ,plz don't misuse that power my brother.
I hope u will self introspect your self on it and make a video of the harsh reality of our Indians who are actual cause of the Monson and climate change ,not the greenery of thar , wise man....

Thar was not always a desert and the River Saraswati flowed through this region during the Harappan or Indus Valley civilization. Maximum number of archaeological sites have been reported from here and desertification was caused by the river channel shifting and drying up due to major earthquakes further north.
Indian Monsoon system was not majorly affected by this as we also have the Mediterranean belt which brings western rains in winter up to Punjab. Also, the western Ghats don't weaken the monsoon, the Himalayas create that wind break so our monsoons easily climb over to central India.
The Omani desert is also currently going green so this phenomenon is wider within the region. Of course, we have countries like China and Israel who have successfully irrigated deserts.
Simultaneously, we have other areas which are gradually becoming arid due to lack of rainfall, extreme groundwater extraction and poor agricultural practices.
Considering the new climate regime there will be new desert regions coming up soon. These changes happen naturally throughout ages but we should be happy to get more agricultural land even as we learn to survive in the new weather patterns.

Yeah .. we can control how much green we need and control it if necessary. But making it green is a huge task .. may be an impossible one. Also, for the past 2-3 years especially in Kerala the pattern of rain was such that it was concentrated over to the southern part of kerala and mainly this was due to the monsoon winds diverting because of excessive heat in Arabian sea. El-Nino was the main reason behind it. Now El-nino has nearly become neutral and La-nina appears to proceeding and now Kerala is experience good rains all over the state. So mostly the pattern of rainfall might reverse and Thar will be the same as now.
