You dont get the full magnitude of how much dirt came out of that pond until Chris gets on top of the shooting range banks and backstop. Wow!
And here I thought you meant Chris walked onto the berms, not drove a dozer onto the berms! 😂
Hey Chris, Any chance we might get to see some of your big projects one or two years after completion? I really look forward to each video!
I enjoy your videos. Being retired it’s so relaxing watching someone else working, especially when you know what you’re doing
Is the line ready ? 👍Ready on the right ?👍 Ready on the left ? 👍
Shooters you may commence firing when your target appears 🎯
Semper Fi !
Another magnificent work of art!
You definitely are
"the DaVinci of dirt!"
😆
Can't argue with that!
Chris, your skills with excavating equipment are as impressive as any great musician is with their instruments. Impressive !!!!!!!!
360p booo.. YT needs to fix their stuff this has been going on a lot the last month or so. Sadly it will take hours for this to be in 1080p so I will have to come back later.
Fishing pond and a shooting range all this little slice of heaven needs is a good bar serving cold beverages and it is all a man needs.
As always quality work.
You know you’re doing something right when you have 16k views in the first hour. Keep it up, we enjoy watching your work.
Some guys are good on one piece of equipment. You’re good on EVERY piece of equipment!
It wont run itself and there aint nobody else sooooo LOL
DR Chris, with the detail of a surgeon
and the finesse of a neurosurgeon.
Really nice job. Stickler for detail. Bet the family is happy with your skills. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
Nice! Another episode of "Pimp My Pond."
Im ex Military and an expert in Range Design. There is no need to use hard materials such as rail ties, they are bloody dangerous with ricochets, especially in close using hand guns over the last 15 yards or so, the first round to hit that steel strapping will blow it apart, just using the dirt backstop is fine, you might need to throw a bit of dirt into the divet holes every 20 years or so to keep it in shape, the rear side of the back stop could also be a bit gentler so you could run a mower up and down. Other than that it looks like a fun place to spend the after noon teaching kids good gun safety after some fishing.
I think the owner has some canons to shoot. LOL
Some places it's mandatory to have a backstop of hard (or very thick) wood besides the dirt backstop - a dirt backstop alone isn't enough.
If you are using paper targets it's nice to have something t pin them onto.
@@johndoesen1718 Totally and utterly disagree, any range with hard materials in the Range Safety Template will NOT be issued a compliance certificate.
@@brunomckay1875 Well if we agree or disagree, that doesn't really matter much if the authorities say it must be so.
Another well done job. The expanded pont looks very good. The shooting berm and backstop will do the job for this client.
I'm watching you grade the pond on the dozer and when you turn the blade left or right I'm leaning at the same angle
all of a sudden slapped in the face with a pine limb. Got me. Nice job
Nice to see the old pond. Then the new. Especially where you could see the outline of the old pond. Great job as always.
Chris you must have nerves of steel. I would have the dozer in the water. Everything looks great. Stocked with bass, bluegill, perch, and crappie and the pond is complete. Thanks for the video. God Bless.
I like both the projects you do on your on and the projects you work on with John.
Your Uncle John has
Always seemed like a good person. I wish he would get into your videos more
I remember him pulling Tim back one time to keep him safe from a tree he was cutting and you were pushing with the excavator
He seems like a real good guy to work with.
Thanks for these video. Going through a bad time in life right now and these and Andrews and a couple other youtubers are helping normalize me a bit. Keep it uo, it all looks fun.
Don't know your situation but just keep on keeping on. Life can kick you in the pants sometimes. Just have to dust yourself off and keep trying. Hope things get better for you...
D, Everything going to be Alright.
Its always dark before the light.
Thanks for watching. My life stays so busy I cant even think about my problems, I dont have time! keep your head up itll be alright
All things in life pass eventually, both good and bad. As the old school stoics would say, the trick is to enjoy the good while accepting the bad that will eventually come to pass too. I find some comfort in the idea that it's all a cycle and only death and taxes are permanent. When you know it's temporary it's easier to have patience with bad things and people.
The Bible tells us, and this to shall pass.
Life in general is a ruff ride hold on and go with the flow.
Love the shooting range, Ours is like that only the sidewalls are shorter. My sons decided to "save some money" by doing it with two tractors and a tracked skid steer; live and learn.
Looks like all that rain you had helped fill that pond up nicely, will be a nice looking homestead when all the construction is completed.keep doing what your doing and push on.👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
Didn't see the slope you were dozing until the ground cam shot.. a whole different perspective. Nice work, and great to have you take us along on the finishing job.
Great work, Chris. Top notch!
Very very nice. Watched from start to finish. The owner increased the value of his property a lot more than he had to pay to get this done. It was the quality of your work that made it look so good. It not only looks good but will be a very serviceable recreation area for the owner. Even a nice place to let the kids fish. Again a very nice job.
Another fine looking project finished.
Nice done! Get ready for the next. 🙃
Man Chris that place turned out awesome, that's a good idea with the crossties in front of the dirt, more security is good, thanks for sharing.
Lifetime range privileges, Chris? That's a serious lead catcher...nice job! 👍
Entire project is beautiful. 💯
You sure do good work! You make sure your work is as close to perfect as possible. It’s like you’re doing it for yourself. Most people wouldn’t spend the extra time to do that. I really enjoy watching yours and Dirt Perfect’s videos, especially the new and makeover pond videos.
Thanks Chris, the drone footage summary really helps to tie in your work from conception to completion. Wishing you and your family another blessed week. Cheers.
What a work of art! The Salvador Dali of........., whatever form of art you want to call this. It's just total amazingness. My son's and I have thought of a family homestead. This type of property layout with lake and shooting range is exactly what they want. Quite frankly, having watched other excavating channels-respectfully names withheld, I wouldn't buy and build unless Chris was available to do it. It would be the deal breaker for sure. Thanks Chris!.
Beautiful work chris
Very cool ending. That shooting range turned out looking good. Enjoyed the flyover and seeing the old edges and the new area.
Beautiful job on the pond. Great job on the property your hired!
Great job! Its a whole new pond!
Another awesome job Chris !!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Good looking area! You made it better. Thanks for the video!
Chris you are so detailed about your work! Wish there more like you that take pride in there work. Your awesome!
Chris it turned out absolutely amazing , the transformation is just stunning well done.
Wonderful job Chris, skill pays
Nice job Chris looks dam good and when u was flying over the pond its a pond in a pond u can see where it use to be little and where u made it bigger I like it
Man I love that gun range. That’s a sweet set up. The drone flyover put it all in perspective.
Nice job.
Chris another great project, your skills are amazing! Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Awesome job and video.
i really enjoy watching these videos. Thank you.
Nice Job Chris. Well done.
That's one hell of a shooting range. It certainly puts mine to shame. I basically stacked a bunch of brush/rotten wood up on top of a fallen tree and covered it with some dirt (basically made a huge compost pile). It isn't pretty but it does the job.
Cool idea for the shooting range 👌
That was an awesome job y’all done with that project Chris it turned out really well. So anyway you and John and your family stay safe and will see you on the next video
DAMN, Chris, you do nice work!!! I'd consider it an honor and privilege to Bust-A-Cap on that range!!
Looks great
Looks great Chris 🇺🇲
Another job well done
Looks great
That sure looks good the pond's nice I wish I had a rifle range like that at my place that's nice good job. 👍👍😀🇨🇦
Nice job Chris !!! 👍
I've learned so much from watching your videos. I've been fascinated by large machines since I was little. Thanks to you I can watch them any time I want to. :-)
One heck of a difference. 👍
Very nice job Chris. You never cease to amaze me.👏🏼👏🏼👍🤛🏻
Just a great video , thanks for sharing the nice work
Great work! We had a fairly new shooting range closed down by the state because lead from the bullets was leaching into a nearby water supply. Now the soil is contaminated and has to be hauled away! Best regards, Jay
Nice work!!!!
Great job, looking good.🤓👍🏼
Nice work as always 👏
I like this gun range shape a great job 👍🏻!
Around where I live most of the ponds are for drinking water. Drill a well get sulfur water spend 6 7 grand for a system that works maybe 1/2 the time or dig a pond. Usually 16 ft or deeper stone the edge because you want it full and without stone the edges erode away. You always seem to keep the ponds shallow and a wider shore with no stone. Just pointing out the differences I like the way they look without the stone. We don't get the amount of rainfall you get either. That's how we keep ours filled usually pile the dirt into a hill on the back of the pond so the runoff helps keep it full.
Great job and great video 👍
For some weird reason i'm only getting this vid in 360p. Anyway, still a good video. Thanks, Chris.
Sometimes CZcams won't encode the video on time for all resolutions, so we get the lower quality ones first and the rest a few hours later.
That turned out nice!!👍👍
that will be a real nice fish pond down the road it all turned real nice. thanks for the vids. cheers mate.
Good job.
That turned out awesome! Well done sir!
Great video thanks for sharing! Stay Safe!
Gosh that turned out beautifully❣️👍👌👏💯
Very Nice Chris!!
Watching Chris drive that dozer up the mountain of dirt reminds me of the power those machines wield.
You make that look so easy!
You make that so easy look great
Another mark of excellent, one pond at a time. Chris you need a Letsdig18 signature overflow grate to mark them .
Keep up the great work Chris.
I really enjoy watching your videos great work keep them coming
That’s a nice Howitzer rated range. 😋
Nicely Done! Tight ,straight, smoothed out ,,,Cheers!! :-)!!

Chris would pick a thorn out of your eye with that bucket!
It was mad to be back in the old 360p days. Top job as always Chris, looks amazing.
Looks real good from the air bro, nice job all round. Safe travels
nice job man looking great
Nice work. A lot a dirt!
Another well done job done well 👍👍👍👍👍
As always nice work sir !!
Do you all notice how Chris is just as cool as a cucumber and never overworks the equipment.
His dexterity with a 3yrd bucket on the excavator that is at a considerable distance is perhaps the most impressive skill
Amazing tidy work... As always ....👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bob Ross in an excavator! "A happy little shooting range"
Awesome 👍
Beautiful 😍
Yes Sir !! Another one in the books. Turned out Great as always Chris !! Man, I think i'm gonna have to get me one of those "Drones" that one you have goes way the hell up there , ya know it !! lololol... And makes a killer work portfolio !!
