He was missing throws his rookie year don’t let the media brain wash you the highlight his miss throws other QBs do it to he completes most of his passes and he above average in yards per throw
TL;DR There were many good plays and moments amid the 4-12 record, in my alternate universe 2015 was another strong playoff-bound year (better than the Panthers? Debatable) 2015 was a very underrated season even though they went 4-12. That team was primed to win, but obviously struggled without Romo at the helm, no offense to Weeden, Cassel and Moore (who is an offensive mastermind as we saw last year). That offense was built for and excelled with Romo. Everyone talks about 2014/2016/2018 being "the year", but I wonder more what could have been in 2015. Even with a middling passing game, Dallas was 9th in rushing that year, and McFadden at one point was 5th in rushing yards (finished 8th). Overall the offense and defense was middle of the road in yards and scoring, not horrible. In fact, the NFC East was so horrible that year, that even in December with a losing record Dallas was still in the playoff race. Where they struggled was in turnover differential, -22 which was 8 more than 31st!! 22 is also the number of total interceptions. They were essentially last and next to last in 1st downs and 3rd down conversions. Even with all of that, 5 losses were 1 score games, and the only real blowouts were the Patriots and Panthers (Credit to them, future NFC Champions). I know people like to brush off years by looking at the record, and yes 4-12 is horrible. But the stats tell the entire story, and this team was WAY better than 4-12. Essentially the same team from 2014 sans DeMarco Murray (who was STUFFED in week 2, Romo and Weeden had more rushing yards than Murray that game).
Notice there's hardly any defensive plays in this video. Have the Cowboys ever had a dominate defense. Maybe doomsday or early 90's but that's about it.
Now that's a totally legal play because he blocked in front oh him not his back or side and they were facing the same direction and the game of football is nothing if a punter doesn't go down after any other player bumps him
We are Cowboy Nation 🤠🔷
Guess what I’m talking about. 25+ 🤣

He was less accurate back then. He actually is alot better now. You gotta take in consideration he throws alot more than he did rookie season too
It's called pressure and expectations!

Best cowboy moment next to a Super Bowl is getting rid of Jason Garrett.

That season including the Covid year were the two worst seaosons for me as a cowboys fan

Nothing good happened during the Matt Kassel year except the next year we got a high draft pick and picked Zeke...
Good times
Where's that cowboys eagles game I think OT and the last play a dak prescott pass bounced off a eagle defenders forearm into coopers hands 😂🏃
Beating the Eagles in overtime *chefs kiss*

Zeke has already lost a step or two,he is nowhere near this fast anymore....
I wish Rolondo would have panned out for longer. Such a waste of pure talent.
2:35 now that’s a blindside block
That’s called “football”
Now that's a totally legal play because he blocked in front oh him not his back or side and they were facing the same direction and the game of football is nothing if a punter doesn't go down after any other player bumps him
Why are there so many cassel plays? None of what he did was a great moment for the Cowboys. Actually would like to forget all of that
Gosh I miss t will
Why he was awful Gallup is way better he was a body catcher
Natasha Riley I loved his toe catches
