Hey great video brother, I like that you compared them for the lifts
I would say the regular Ohio Bar would've met your style of training better than both of these, it has no center knurl a 28.5mm shaft and a middle of the road whip. Perfect for a lifter who likes to do it all with one bar
Power Bars have left my back all messed up and I never even considered that as I am going to transition into bodybuilding
Good call! I got the deadlift bar over a year ago and was just using my cheap barbell from about 8 years ago for all my other lifts. Decided to get the power bar to have something better to train for my first powerlifting meet. I went back and looked at the rogue website because I was wondering why I didn’t see the Ohio bar when I got mine. Then I realized it was because I filtered my search for 45 lb barbells and all the Ohio bars are 20KG. It does look like it would be a better all around bar if only buying 1! 👍
@@CamberFitness how far out are you? Subbed cause I wanna see the journey 💪🏼
@@TrainerBigMike was going to do December, but it may end up being in January cause I’m probably going to be out of town for work most of December.
@@TrainerBigMike I’ve been posting my lifts on my IG account.
Have any questions about these bars?🏋️♂️Let me know!👇
The video no one asked for
But I’m here watching it
😂 thx!
While I think the purpose of this video is odd since they are completely two different kinds of bars, the video quality and content itself was valuable.

@890639buck thx.
Are there any barbell bars you would recommend on a Budget starting out as well as a workout program for new lifter with just a power rack? Maybe a 5/5/5 program? Always enjoy the videos .
I guess it depends on what your budget is. Also, how many days a week do you have available for lifting?
@@CamberFitness I would like to start out with 2-3 days a week lifting starting, basically trying to help preserve/ possibly build any muscle i can while
cutting down more weight. On a weight loss journey down 166lbs so far, and just now getting a power rack and adjustable bench, have to still get a barbell and some
weights but maybe under 150$ for barbell?
When it comes down to it, just about any 45 lb barbell will work just fine. My original one has some kind of cheap coating on the sleeve that started chipping on one side and I cut myself a couple times on it. But it was easy to just sand that off. You could probably find some that that’ll work at your local sports store.
As far as lifting. At 2-3 days a week, I’d go with some kind of full body workout. You could do something like squats, incline bench press, rows one day, and then deadlifts, bench press, and shoulder press the a couple days later. Another option would be some barbell lunges, pull ups, and bench press. Find what exercises you like and then just track your progress. You can throw in some calf raises, curls, skull crushers to hit all the smaller muscles too.
Thanks so much man appreciate it! Just got the power rack installed today, now on the hunt for barbell and weights!@@CamberFitness
@@MyDraw nice! It’s always nice to be able to easily lift at home. 💪
Have a rouge ohio power bar. Looking to add a deadlift bar. Is the ohio deadlift bar too stiff? Ive heard its stiff compared to the texas deadlift bar but i also hear the knurling on the ohio bar is better.
Both bars have the same tensile strength so they should be pretty much the same whip. I do like the knurling on the Ohio deadlift bar.
I just came here to watch someone bench and squat with a deadlift bar.🤣
👍
I've seriously wanted to know whay it was like but I'm too self conscious to try it lol. I sounded sarcastic, but I meant it.
It’s not much different.
Why are you benching with a deadlift barbell? Its a deadlift that is meant jusr for d.l.. confused
I’ve seen a lot of folks just grab a random barbell to bench with not realizing that it’s meant specifically for deadlifting so I’m showing why you wouldn’t want to use it like that.
